Great economical collar that helps control pulling safely.

This collar is so nice for my pup she wore it from April 22 to June 26th 2020 before she grew out of it. I ordered her a medium in berry she was 42 lbs. at the time. She is now 60 lbs. and just put her new purple large collar on today (6/26/20). Yes I ordered the same collar when she grew out of the medium. We liked it that much! It has some give to it so it’s comfortable for her to wear. It hangs loose until it is hooked to her leash and she pulls. She’s very strong and with her 4 wheel drive she can be a force to be reckoned with if she decides to be stubborn. The fact that the snap never popped is saying something and not for lack of her trying! At any rate I never write reviews but this collar is great and you can’t beat the price for the quality.

Small, 1/2 inch, for 9-11 inch neck behind ears. My dog is 10 inch behind ears and I adjusted the collar so that the OUTSIDE measurement of the collar (not including martingale loop) webbing from ring to ring is 11 inches (11 3/4 including the rings) and his head doesn't pull out. Possibly he could get it off if his ears were smashed through it but he didn't want to test that ;-) The best part, is if he were alone and caught his collar on something, the martingale loop provides enough slack that he could pull out of the collar and avoid stranglulation. The collar is sturdy and the overlapped, stitched parts seem a little too stiff and bulky for a small dog. The martingale loop tends to lie kind of flat, not loopy as depicted in the size diagram, because of the overlapped, stitched webbing at the D-ring. Probably should use a thinner or narrower (or both) webbing to make the small collar, or at least the martingale loop. Our dog is a 14-lb chihuahua-daschund ChiWeenie (possibly) Otherwise, it looks well-made and could probably hold up to a Rottweiler pulling hard, if it would fit a Rottweiler. There is a small plastic tag near the buckle, on the collar near the martingale; for ID tags. Neither the webbing, the buckle, nor the rings have rough spots to chafe the dog. He approves.

This collar is made well and looks like it will hold up well. I purchased this collar for my puppy when he was 8 months old and it didn’t seem to work for him at that time, and now it doesn’t fit him anymore. One thing I do remember happening with him the first time I put it on him was he somehow got his mouth stuck in it and then he couldn’t close his mouth. It all happened in a matter of minutes and he was frantic. Thank god I was right there to take it off him...so make sure that you never leave this collar on your dog unattended (the manufacturer says this too). It is meant to be left on your dog for walks or training. I just ordered another collar in a size medium because my boy is 4 years old now and needs a larger size. His neck measures 13”. I included a picture so you know how to figure out the right size, you don’t want the main part of the collar to be too small, that part of the collar should be approximately the same size as your dogs neck so the collar doesn’t become too tight and choke him when pulled on. You don’t want the main part of the collar to be made any smaller around then your dogs neck! I enclosed a picture to explain what I mean, maybe it will help you too. So expect the collar to fit loosely. You don’t want it too tight. So many reviews are saying that the sizing is way off, but it isn’t, it’s that way for a reason.

These are the only collars we buy for our dogs and puppies. We raise Rhodesian Ridgebacks and these collars are fantastic for the puppies. They go home with one in their size and what is great about them is that they do not slip off the neck. This is a great feature for a puppy who is not yet used to walking on a leash. The puppies get used to them quickly and they appear comfortable. Just the right thickness and look great. The are also super easy to get on and off with the buckle clasp.

My favorite type of collars for my 2 boxers. They are durable, long lasting and the clip is great so I don't have to slip it over their head to take it on and off. Colors are bright and last. Sizing was accurate. I buy them 2 at a time in case my dogs rub in something smelly and I need a quick replacement.

I have two small dogs with roughly 10 inch necks. I bought the size small in blue annd in black according to the chart. The collars look well-made and they feel nice in my hands, but I have to adjust them to the smallest size possible and I can still be able to slip it over my dogs heads without using the buckle. So while they are nice the sizing is simply not accurate. I will have to purchase a different collar.

Exactly as described, made very well. I discovered paying a little extra for a buckle vs non-buckle is a great convenience and a safety issue for large headed dogs.

Nice and sturdy and easy to put on and off. My dog didn’t complain either.

Good collar fits my 7 month labrador perfectly. I use this with long line for training, correction to the dog and for walks only.

Sturdy, good D rings. But color choice should have been there for sizes. Some colors are exhorbitantly costly.
