I bought this after purchasing another game by the same maker, called Brain Elixir, which had the miraculous effect of getting my teenagers off their phones and talking to each other, and even to me. Poppycock was equally successful, if not more. It's also a brain-teaser but adds another dimension: If you don't know an answer, you bluff! It was remarkable. I had no idea what good liars my kids are! But this discovery paled in comparison to the feeling that the playing of the game clawed my family back from the digital abyss and got us all interacting again! Thank you!

Poppycock was a great game to introduce to an evening of dinner and drinks with my friends.Great for a group and would be suitable for a range of ages as the knowledge and trivia questions are so varied. The great thing about it is that even when you don’t know the answer you can trick your opponents into thinking you do.. meaning you still get ahead in the game!Really fun, plenty of laughs and would be great to get out with the family over Christmas or just a rainy Sunday.Would definitely recommend!

I've really enjoyed playing Poppycock. It's a great dinner party game - doesn't necessarily have to be played by kids! The basic idea is you have to state which statement (out of a bunch of 5) is false, and shout "Poppycock" to proclaim your decision to the other players. So it's all about the quality of the statements and I have to report that they're well collated and quite diverse. Obviously great care has gone into the selection.With regards to packaging etc; as I recall it was all great, the box is attractive, and the feel of the cards, board & structure of the box is excellent so it's gonna last a long time.I really recommend this game.

Its a great game in principle.Rules seem complicated so we re wrote and an easier to follow way. They say you get 4 packs of cards all different. Mine seem to be the same which is no fun when you open a new pack and realise the questions are the same as the old pack

I bought Poppycock when I went on holiday with my family this summer. There were five adults and six kids so I wanted something we’d all enjoy and something a little different. We laughed (and snorted a few times) and I loved that we could all get involved - I’m not sure who learnt more, the adults or the kids! Highly recommend x
