Simple bracket that does exactly what it should
Picked this up because I needed a cheap way to mount a couple of SSDs in an older case, and it worked without any trouble. Installation was straightforward and everything lined up the way it was supposed to. I’ve always trusted Corsair for parts like this, and this bracket didn’t disappoint. Solid enough for what it is and got both drives secured with no issues. Perfect little upgrade for the price.

Great product
This is a well built item, feels solid, and can hold two 2.5" drives. It comes with mounting screws for your drives as well. For this part of the review, imagine the drive you want to mount is sitting on a table horizontally in front of you, one of the broad sides down on the table. If you look at the area where you connect cables, you will notice that connector is either on top (facing upward), or on the bottom (facing downward). It is important to note that the mounted orientation of drives in this bracket is with the pins facing downward in the bracket (otherwise the screws can't align through the bracket into the drive). The main way this can be a challenge is if your power/data cables come into the drive mounting area from above, you may have to put additional stress on your wires bending them to fit, attempt to re-route them through your case so they come in from underneath, or you may have to use a different wire set designed to come in from below. I wish there was a way to allow a more universal mount, so purchasers can mount their drives in the bracket with the pin orientation either (or both) up/up, down/down, or one up/one down. But in the end this bracket does what I needed it to do, which is to mount an SSD in my computer and provides room for an additional drive in the future, if needed. It works as designed, and not everyone will encounter this challenge...so it gets a 5-star from me.

Perfect fit, good quality at a good price, but annoying hardware packaging.
I used this bracket as part of an upgrade of an older PC. I have the old OCZ Vertex 4 and new Samsung 870 EVO installed in it and the assembly is in my oldie but goodie Chieftec Dragon tower. Perfect fit all around. The only thing I would change about this product is the ridiculous manner in which they package the screws. They put 3 sets of 4 screws (2 sets for the drives and 1 set for mounting the bracket to the PC) in 3 tiny Ziploc-style bags and then they roll each bag up tightly and tape the end over. It's nigh on impossible to find the end of the tape to start pulling it off, so most people, myself included, end up having to cut the things open with scissors or utility blade. There is no reason for packing the screws like this, other than to display their disdain for the consumer. They could simply have tossed the small bags inside the box with the bracket and everyone would be happy. Or, they could simply use one bag for all screws and everyone would still be happy (everyone saves a little money on 2 fewer baggies, for one thing). At the very least, if they insist on rolling these bags up like this, they could fold over the edge of the tape to make a little starter handle with which to pull it off and open the bags, leaving them intact, allowing us to reuse them for other things and keep them out of the landfill. If you need to save space or just want to stack your SSDs for any other reason, you can't go wrong with this Corsair dual bracket, as long as you don't mind having to fight the hardware packaging. I don't know if Corsair was just trying to be different or cute with this, but it cost them 2 stars on the "Easy to install" metric. I still gave it an overall 5 stars, since it's a quality product with perfect fit and does include the necessary hardware.

Great mounting bracket, but only if you are connecting to a cable.
Nice and simple, and works great as long as your SATA connection is to a cable, and not to a static connector. This isn’t going to work IF you are trying to use it and need to insert your disk into some kind of enclosure where the SATA connector is mounted exactly where the SATA connector in a 3.5” drive sits as this tray puts the SATA connector in the 2.5” drive to far up and to the center so it’s never going to slide into that slot. Getting the screws into the side of the drive is relatively easy on one side. Considerably more difficult in the other side. If you have a magnetic screw driver it’s going to be a lot easier. If you don’t, be prepared for some frustration and a lot of dropped screws … Once I had the SSD mounted it works great on my PC as a SATA cable doesn’t care where the connector on the drive is …

This bracket is better than the 2.5 to 3.5 drive bay mounting bracket.
I was shopping around for Corsair mounting brackets because I wanted to swap out some old HDD hard drives for faster SSD drives. Although the bracket I bought from Corsair wasn't awful, it didn't quite fit in the sled the way I wanted it too. I have a Coolermaster Overseer case. The reason I bought this case was because I wanted it to be large enough to support bigger graphics cards and power supplies while also having room for water cooling. The Coolermaster Overseer PC case has plastic drive sleds where you can mount traditional HD's into the sled and simply slide them into your PC, quick and easy. When switching to SSD I found that these sleds were too large and none of the pins on the SSD matched up with the sled. I went shopping around for 2.5 to 3.5 brackets and didn't find anything I liked from the current marketplace. I knew this had to fit in a sled and having some cheap plastic "thermal cooling" vents for the bracket didn't make sense. I purchased this mounting bracket thinking that it was designed for adding the original corsair mounting bracket I purchased. I was wrong. Instead, this bracket is completely stand alone and supports two SSDs. I assumed that because my original corsair plate didn't fit, this bracket would be the same. Thankfully it is not! The corsair dual mounting bracket seems to be a much better product that has its own screws for mounting the SSDs. Therefore, I didn't need my old corsair bracket because this one did everything by itself. I was able to mount a WD SSD and a Samsung EVO SSD while still having enough room to connect the SATA cables. (However, I do want to note that I did need to buy power extenders and sata cable extenders because the design of my case makes it difficult to connect shorter cables.) So now I ended up with 2 spare corsair mounting plates, two for the price of one. This is a great product for cases that use 3.5 sleds. I highly recommend this one over the single drive corsair bracket. Also, these materials are made of metal and not cheap plastic.

Perfect!
Worked perfect. Mounted right up with old sliding hardware and screwed in my new SSD took 5 minutes. Comes with three different screw option/sizes.

Perfect Fit
I used this to put an SSD into a Dell case. The case used two screws on the bottom and two on the side of the original 3.5" HD. The screw holes on the adapter lined up with those perfectly. The slots (instead of holes) for the SSD mount allowed me to slide the two SSDs into position nicely and then tighten them with the included screws.
