Adequate
Seems adequate for the price. Poor fit and finish. It's a tad rough and uneven. The edge was dull and asymmetrical, but after some work with my sharpening kit it took a very nice edge. The handle scales actually appear to be real horn! The movement of the blade is pretty positive and it locks up nicely. For the price, it's about as good as you can ask for. I'm happy with it.

Really not but for the price
The knife isn't perfect, but for the price it's pretty good. The fit and finish not great, but not bad, the walk and talk when opening and closing are surprisingly good, with no side or vertical play. Really I have no major negative comments, but I should point out the blade is dull out out of the box, I haven't sharpened it yet, so I can't say whether or not it will hold an edge. ,

Fine Reproduction
A very good reproduction of a pocketknife design that has been around for well over 100 years.

Cool old style pocket knife
This is a pretty cool looking knife, it's somewhat historically correct for an early 1800 period pocket knife. It's not great quality, but definitely worth the price when its less than $10 it's hard to find fault.

Poor packaging, already dirty fresh out of box and duller than a stick
Got it out of the paper thin and already crushed box, finger prints already on the knife, gunk between the blade and handle, and rust starting on the pivot. Also already had dirt in the crudely cut grooves. Feels like it might clean up to be decent, has a good weight but very disappointing fresh out the box

Historically correct
I use this old school knife for my historical hunting kit. I like it and it is as close as time period correct as we can get
