So yeah. It’s pretty soft and vignettey. I mainly used it to give me a wider angle on a bmpcc 6k with an 18-35 sigma lens. I shoot a lot of portrait content eg tiktok or reels. I could rotate the cam but I like to have the option to repurpose stuff for widescreen and also reframe left and right depending on what I want to frame for later. So for that it’s great because I’m not using the edges of the frame. But the other day I used it outside with an nd filter and it created a great vibe. Almost like an old school camera like 16mm or something. And that was the vibe we were going for for that shoot. So people can complain about this but for $35 it’s become just an option in my toolkit. I don’t use it all the time. But professionals find a use for anything. It also adapted my sigma lens to the correct size to fit my ND filter from my Sony e lens so that was useful as well.

Maybe it's just the lense I have it on, but it only gives me a tiny bit wider angle. My guess is that it's working as expected, I just should have researched more before I bought. It's my fault, so I'm not returning it, but it will probably just go into the drawer. Bright side, it was really cheap.
