Can these be used inside your home?

The short answer is yes. The active ingredient of mosquito coils is pyrethrin/pyrethroid from chrysanthemum flowers, and is not toxic to humans. Having said, remember that it's SMOKE! Using this in a poorly ventilated room may irritate eyes and nose for sensitive individuals and the lungs for those with asthma. Keep the window open.

Does the coil lay on the mesh screen, or does it need to be supported?

Hello, Great question! The coil lays between 2 fiber retardant mesh screens in-order for it to be supported and secure with out moving around.

Do these rust if left outside?

They will rust some if water sits in the coil holder but just turn it upside down to pour out the water........ours lasted almost 3 years. Ordering another now......great product

Does anyone tried to use this in camping? Is it effective?

We use these EVERYWHERE! Backyard, front yard, take them to Mexico! (Best idea ever......no more mosquitos bothering us down in the jungle!) .........get them.....you will not be sorry! Also use the Spartan Eradicators with them and you will be free of those pesky things.......we live behind a stream and ponds and it use to miserable to sit outside in the Spring, Summer and Fall! Not now! 👍🏻
