Academy 1/35 M2A2 Bradley Iraq 2003 Tank Plastic Model Kit #13205

I have built many models, this is a nice kit for beginners to intermediate skilled builders. The part trees are individually packaged in sealed plastic bags.

Packaged in a plastic Amazon bag and the model box was destroyed like another package fell on it. The model itself looked ok but in the process of building it I found several pieces cracked.

Not very complicated to put together but it is very accurate replication of Bradley for the time period. I was in Iraq in 2003, so it is a nice memorabilia of my experience in the war at that time.

I kitbash practical model effects. Lots of great pieces for assemblage.

More challenging and detailed than the simpler, better-engineered Tamiya armor models. Took patience and skill (and repair) to handle the many tiny, sometimes fragile parts. Required some putty on the turret. But great fun to accessorize, customize and weather (Wish the figure was better; he's dressed more for the PX than battle.) Final result though is fascinating to look at which is what it's all about for me.

Took a while to receive. Good quality.

Good model of the mid-life Bradley at a lower cost than other brand.
