Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting pyoura. Fresh plants contain several actives, not all of them being ‘oily’. To obtain just the oil, plants and herbs are usually dried off, a process which can cause the loss of some non-oily actives. On the other hand, products made using the traditional seam distillation process require addition of water back to dried material which could possibly denature some actives. The proprietary process used for the pyoura range of mists works directly and only on farm-fresh plants to extract their active ingredients which consist of both the non-oil (‘watery’) and oily actives in their natural proportions, the former typically being much larger. Thus, the watery texture does not signify that the product is less effective or does not contain the actives. Also, the process does not use solvents, preservatives or other chemicals.

Q: Could you reveal actual ingredients list?

The proprietary process used for the pyoura range of mists extracts the active ingredients from fresh herbs like Tulsi, Neem, Rose petals, Turmeric Rhizomes, etc. without the use of solvents or added water or added steam. Preservatives are also not added. Thus the ingredient list for Tulsi mist is just fresh Tulsi leaves.
