I have been experiencing dry eyes and eye discomfort until I started using this product. It is a thick gell substance that assistance from your spouse or partner is a must and applying this yourself is almost impossible. I do this every night and wake up with my eyes feeling moisturized.

I have very dry eyes during the day. I just use a regular drop with lubricant but at night I need something more and that’s where I found the sustained dry eye nighttime ointment on Amazon. It’s very good. You don’t have to use much of it because it covers your eyes and keep some covered the whole night with lubricant ointment. I have tried many other kinds, and this is the one that I found here on Amazon that really does work! Just follow the directions

I have extremely dry eyes (most of the oil glands that help keep the moisture on my eyeball for more than a few seconds are actually not functioning). I use this at night (every night) and it does help substantially. Most liquids/drops just don't have the saying power needed. I will note, however, that if I were to use this during the day, some of the ointment would, over time, end up around my eye and create a shiny texture, which I don't find appealing. It is a bit expensive for the amount that you get, but I've not found another product that matches it.

I cannot sleep without this lube in my eyes. Before using substance lube my eyes would be tearing and dry. Works effectively in preventing air to leak into your eyes at night. If you have dry eyes of any kind the is no better quality ( and I’ve tried them all), it’s easy to use and apply. The tubes are small but go a long way. Use Systane at nighttime and wake up with healthy eyes!!

Good product for night time dry eyes, been using for years. Downside: these ointments are expensive for the tube volume but if you need your stuck paying the price.

I have dry eyes. By late afternoon I need this and then again at night for sleeping. They have a thicker ointment for sleeping and I recommend the thicker ointment for sleeping.

Like this kind of Systane with added lanolin. Keeps my eyes more moist. Harder to find. Hope it's not discontinued..

When your preferred eye ointment isn't available, you use whatever you can get your hands on. This is the best eye ointment I have ever used, and I use it a lot. You will see a difference between the Canadian and US packaging, the US comes in a thinner, longer metal tube with a black cap, the Canadian comes in a fatter, shorter metal tube with a white cap. Both work very well. Bought and received a 6 pack this time so I have plenty on hand. Great stuff for dry eye disease.
