Gutter Edge Peel N' Stick Seamless Design Proven to Keep Your gutters from Ever Oxidizing or Staining (200 ft.)

Long suffered from ugly striping on our gutter fronts. With new gutters, I decided to research stripe mitigation options and found Gutter Edge. We decided to order it and have them installed while our gutter guys had a crew out to add leaf-guards. I reached out to the seller about color options, since white was the only ones listed on Amazon, and was able to not only get shipped the other color they make, Clay, but also learned about the several gutter how-to videos they have on their YouTube channel. Can't stress this point enough, but the seller is an active gutter installer himself, this is his product, you are getting direct customer service for any questions. That means you are not dealing with a random third party reselling a generic knock-off product from some unknown source. To me, his level of old-fashioned customer service and support invokes a word I rarely use: awesome!Almost forgot, before installing, use a gutter cleaning solution to remove existing tiger striping, or you'll effectively be putting lipstick on a pig, LOL. My gutter guys were already doing this as part of their leaf guard installation service, so I didn't research products to offer any thoughts or recommendations. Now back to this product review...Gutter Edge sections simply snap into place on the gutter. Corners can be carefully trimmed with a sharp utility knife, or for better fit a fine-toothed (120+ TPI) miter saw does the job quickly. If that's all your putting in place, anchor with zip screws and done. Mine are held firmly under the leaf guards by the several screws used to install the guards -- pro tip: seller explains this entire installation process nicely in his videos. Once installed, they blend right in and look like a natural part of the formed gutter. As for the joints between each placed section, he recommends a small dab of gutter sealant to prevent water from getting between them and thus creating a tiger stripe down the front of your gutter. Specifically, since I was subbing out the installation onto a crew doing my leaf guards, I picked up a couple tubes of his recommended  Geocel 2321 Construction Tripolymer Adhesive  in clear, just to be on the safe side :) I sourced the Geocel locally for about half of Amazon's going price at the time, so shop around on that item as YMMV.Actual installation for each section only took a couple minutes to position and snap in place, once they got into a rhythm, it barely slowed the guys down while doing leaf guard installation, with trimming to length and mitering the corners taking a moment longer -- not significant, as only one half of the corner needed to be measured to length, the other was miter only since that piece was your start for the next run.Very much a DIY project if you're handy with basic tools and don't mind ladder work. For function reference, we had new gutters installed last year, and barely through one summer without Gutter Edge, tiger stripes were very noticeable on the gutter faces. Since installing them this spring, we haven't had any striping at all this summer, I was impressed with how easy the installation was, and am impressed with how the product live up to seller's claims!

The media could not be loaded.  The “EASY” installation that gutter edge promotes is misleading. They show in their website installation video the gutter edge just clicking into place. When installing it onto my gutter it had to be forced on and only one end fit. Upon returning, they put the blame on the buyer and amateur installation. Its humorous after referencing back to their click on installation video. Now this might not be an issue if you could just send it back and get a full refund but YOU PAY RETURN SHIPPING.

I had an issue with "tiger stripes" on my gutters. So far this product solved my problem. Only bad thing is I had to pay for a roofer to install them--- because I don't like heights!

Didn't work. Had to return it and eat the shipping costs.

DID NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Thought it a little pricey at $1.00/foot. Also, the advertisement says "clip on". The instructional video tells you that after you clip it on, put screws through the top edge into the gutter, 2 feet on center. It does not say if the screws come with the order.
