Is the one with the red O-ring the same as the one with the blue O-ring. They look very different?

OK here goes. Plano uses color to identify the "SERIES" that you are looking at. Yellow is used for the smaller 3500 series. Blue is used for the3600 midsize series. With Red being the larger 3700 series. Now within a series there are different models. The 3600 series has the regular 3600 and a 3640. Both are Plano and have up to 20 compartments if you use all of the dividers. The openings will be 1.5 in. by 1.75 in if you use them all. I know the picture shows red being used in the 3640. This is NOT my experience. I gave you what I have experienced owning over 20 Plano Guide Series Waterproof boxes. Hope this helps.

Are the divider walls fixed or removable? I hate when hooks can work their way under the walls into the other sections.

Some are fixed and some are moveable. I've only had a couple instances where hooks worked their way underneath.
