Visible results within the first weekI had been dealing with dandruff and constant itching for months, especially during the winter. I tried several products with no luck until I found this Head & Shoulders duo. After just three washes, I noticed a huge difference: the redness was gone and the flaking had almost completely stopped. The shampoo cleans thoroughly without drying out my scalp, and the conditioner leaves it feeling calm and my hair soft. Plus, the scent is really pleasant. Finally, something that actually works!

My scalp was severely inflamed after a vacation that consisted of daily swimming in pools, the ocean and keeping my hair damp for hours. Despite using chlorine removal shampoo my scalp had enough. My scalp was on fire with itching that scratching never satisfied and I had developed a couple painful wet scabs. I tried to wash more frequently and treat with ACV, rosemary oil and regular H&S but it didn't provide lasting relief or heal the scabs. My scalp was pleading for something else. I came upon Clinical Strength H&S and purchased the shampoo and conditioner bundle. I was familiar with the smell of selenium sulfide as I had to use it when I was a kid in the Rx form once. Yes, if you have read other reviews the scent is more medicinal but it worked with 2 treatments with washings about 5 days apart.I lifted my scalp with a fine tooth comb and washed with the clinical shampoo and the conditioner. It did sting a little bit because I had scratched my scalp and the sores were open so you may want to wait a few hours or overnight if you choose to do this. 3 days after my first treatment, I had huge, dry flakes but there was no itch and my scabs were healing. I'm guessing the seborrheic dermatitis/malasseezia yeast that was on my scalp dried up. I lifted the scalp again and washed my hair and this time I had no itching, no dandruff flakes, no scabs!!! I'm about 5 days from my last wash and I'm flake free and itch free. My scalp feels renewed. Btw, as an African American woman with a 4b hair type, I cannot wash my hair daily. It would severely dry out my hair. So this is promising for anyone who needs to wait a few days between washes. This product continues to work throughout the week. My scalp is now calm and I can just use it as needed going forward. I am very pleased!!

I finally found a dandruff shampoo that really works. My hair is clean but not stripped, and no more itchy, flaky scalp. It's gentle on the skin - it doesn't burn the like some of the others do.

Had my seborrheic dermatitis under control for many years, until I stopped using the old Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength formula and switched to the standard H&S. Was hesitant to try the new stuff, since I was really in love with the old formula -- aside from the scalp treatment, it just gave my hair the perfect amount of volume. Well, as it turns out, standard H&S is not enough for me, and I NEED the clinical strength formula. Scalp conditions started to improve within 2 weeks, and now (2 months) it's basically non-existent. Cannot recommend enough for seborrheic dermatitis.Smells very similar to the old formula, which isn't that great, but also not that bad. The smell mostly just fades into the background, and I'm fairly sensitive to fragrances.As far as how it leaves my hair (I don't usually use conditioner post-wash), it's also very similar to the old formula, so overall not too disappointed with H&S decision to reformulate its Clinical Strength line.

This product is a miracle!!! I’ve always had flakes in my scalp for as long as i can remember and my doctor prescribed me the fluocinolone acetonide oil, this thing made me loose so much hair and my scalp start to be so itchy that i had to wash my hair everyday. So i went online and found that product, this is the best!!! On my first wash my scalp was so fresh, people at home start to tell me that my hair looks so much better, i have way less flakes and my itchiness is gone!! Going more than 7 days now without washing my hair for me it’s wonder! The texture is fine, thick, i love that this has peppermint so your hair stay fresh even after drying. So i got 2 bottles of 400 ml, i’m gonna buy more i never wanna run out of this product sincerely. The price is fair cause it works!!
