Smart Garage Control - Wireless Garage Hub and Sensor with Wifi & Bluetooth - Smartphone Controlled, myQ-G0401-ES, White

I've had this installed and their app running for about 7 months (DIY by me, a 60+ y/o female). It was easy to install and worked right away. There are helpful videos on-line you can watch also (and I ran it on my laptop while in the garage to follow along with the steps to install). It has been great UNTIL YESTERDAY - but their CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE PERSON WAS GREAT! Which is why I'm finally reviewing this. App stopped showing the control and acted like I needed to set up a new unit suddenly. I tried unplugging it, and even unplugged my router. That didn't resolve it. The app stopped recognizing that I had the Hub and sensor installed. The HELP/APP CHAT on my phone was useless and a waste of time IMHO, but gave me a phone number to call for help. After calling you need to give answers to an (AI??) agent voice. NOTE: be sure you hear a clicking after your answers when first calling, or you'll just be sitting there while waiting for it to recognize your answer! Happened to me, and it was waiting for a YES answer not explanation! Once that was done, I was connected quickly to help. Agent was patient even when my phone cut out a few times since I was in the garage. He even asked if he could call me back if we were disconnected. He walked me through the app menu to get to where I could reset the hub (turned out the hub on the garage door wasn't connecting). He waited until all steps on app were followed by me (many are skipped such as installing Chamberlain units on wall and garage door). I re-paired our (Genie) Garage door opener to the unit (HELPFUL HINT - use a long broom handle rather than have to get on a ladder to push the pairing button!!) and he waited until the garage door worked (lights blinked and unit beeps and door opened once paired) and waited to make sure I was able to see the unit in my app to control it and close the door. It's a great unit, and It's been nice to be able to open the door with the app while in my vehicle. Really, it has worked great for 7 months. I did have to change out the battery on the small hub that attaches to the inside of the garage door much sooner than I thought (about 2 months after I first got it installed). I had a notification in the app that it was low. It was easy to do and the battery was available at my grocery store. If for some reason I ever need to get another one, I'd choose Chamberlain. Worked great with my 9 y/o Genie Model 4024 garage door opener and I feel they'd help with any issues I may have in the future.

Love this garage opener. I’ve purchased it so far for myself and two other people because I love it so much. Makes opening your garage convenient and giving access to your home so easy. The setup walks you through even the most minute steps, which is awesome, so it was super simple. Took me six minutes. Quickly connected and works like a charm. Pair this with a Mounting Bracket that connects to your garage door opener hardware for no-drilling, easy setup!!

These add such flexibility to controlling and monitoring your garage door, and all for a great value. Installation is as simple as adding another garage door clicker! Ever wondered if you closed the garage door or not? Well this app will show you. It logs all operationsm. You can add users to give them access, 24x7 or with time restrictions. I've got mine set to auto-clise at 10pm and 3am just in case I forget. Open your door from anywhere for a neighbour, friend, or delivery. Works with Amazon deliveries, if you authorize this so your packages can be delivered inside the garage (free on orders over $25 and you can pick the day.) Overall great product.

Would do 4.5-4.7, just because the app has a small learning curve for notifications setup. Actual device install is pretty easy, as long as you habe a decent WiFi signal in garage. Steps you through setup and much easier than most expect. Make sure you have a newer opener for compatibility. Love the open close programmed notices and door open more than 10 minutes. Highly recommend. Only gotcha is the door sensor, mine, see,s to est batteries. Many report this. We are seniors and don’t open close the door w lot. App does notify you. Answer is buy on Amazon a low cost multi pack of the button batteries. App works, remote status and history works. Remote control works. Shockingly no fees or annual subscription charges.

I love getting a notice on my phone that my garage door has opened or closed...and I can just look at the app on my phone to see if I closed the door when I left. If I didn't close it, I can just close it from my phone. If someone needs access to my garage while I'm away, I can let them in easily. After two months, it just works! I had a GoGo Gate system which worked, but the battery leaked in one of the door sensors. It cost less to get the Chaimberlain system than to buy just GoGo Gate sensor. Installing this device was easy and straight forward. I have it connected to both Genie and Chamberlain garage door openers in the same garage and it works flawlessly with both. My only installation issue was that I could not tell that the "learn" button on the Chamberlain opener is purple, not red/orange. Tech Support helped me with that issue and was not judgemental, which he could have been, maybe should have been. Unlike the GoGo Gate, this unit does not have to be wired to the garage door opener. It uses the same wireless technology as the remote or HomeLink in the car. Just install the app on the phone and the app walks you through the setup process...plug it in, connect the app to the controller, mount the sensors on the doors with sticky tape, let the garage door learn it (you do have to determine what color the learn button is), and it works.

Really easy to install and so far the battery life is really good. Once in a while I’ll get a hiccup with the app, but after closing and reopening the app it works again. It’s really nice to be able to see the status of your garage door at all times and also be able to set it so that it will close by a certain time of the night. I have a Genie garage and setting up the device was fast and easy. It’s nice to not have to carry around a garage door opener remote. I highly recommend it.

Easy to install, Appearance is great and it functions as advertised. Battery life should be adequate and batteries should be easy to replace. Chamberlain branding means the size and durability will be as expected.

It seems that the MyQ app has stopped integrating with their own product, the Smart Garage Hub. It wasn’t even showing up in Device Management, so I couldn’t add the device to the app. I wasted so much time troubleshooting this. One weekend, it didn’t even allow me to register my new account, as their servers appeared to be down. Now that they’ve discontinued third-party integrations like HomeAssistant, I’m not sure if anyone would still be interested in buying this, like I was. Unfortunately, their system is so buggy and convoluted.

Dunque prima di acquistare dovete sapere che questo prodotto non funziona con le fotocellule quindi non è adatto a voi . Il kit è ben fatto sempre se non utilizzate le fotocellule ripeto. Ho dovuto renderlo in quando ci sono cascato anche io .!

Muy satisfecho con el producto, funciona perfectamente. Tuve un poco de dificultad para vincular el myQ hub con mi abridor de puerta Craftsman, encontre que tuve que reiniciar completamente el abridor para permitir que el myQ se vinculara correctamente. Esto causó que los controles remotos existentes dejaran de funcionar y no me fue posible configurarlos de nuevo, asi que tuve que sustituir el control remoto original con la aplicacion de myQ. No se si esto es un problema con Craftsman o con myQ, sin embargo si funciona para el proposito que requiero.

Excellent produit, fonctionne à merveille ! L’installation du Chamberlain MYQ-G0401 est simple et rapide, et la configuration avec l’application se fait sans problème. Le contrôle du garage à distance est très pratique et fiable. Les notifications en temps réel sont un gros plus et offrent une tranquillité d’esprit. La connexion est stable et le système répond rapidement aux commandes. Produit efficace, conforme à la description et très utile au quotidien. Je recommande fortement.

Genieのガレージドアに付けて専用アプリと連携させてスマホなどから問題なく開閉できています。しかしHome Assistantとの連携をしたかったのだが、メーカーのポリシーで、3rdパーティーのホームオートメーションシステムと連携できないのは残念。
