This is the very best whey protein isolate powder. I have used all kinds of protein powders and I get the best results from this protein powder. And it tastes just fine. No issues at all with the taste. The thing I like the best about THIS protein powder is IT HAS NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS IN IT. The vast majority of protein powders on the market do. I don't want to take a protein powder to build muscle yet at the same time ingest an artificial sweetener. It just doesn't make any sense to me to turn a blind eye to an artificial sweetener in a protein powder or any other food or drink product for that matter. At any rate, this is the whey protein isolate powder to get. And buy it in bulk in the 10-pound bag as the price per ounce is cheaper. If I could review this protein powder with 10 stars I would. I can't say enough about how great this protein powder is. I HIGHLY recommend it.

This stuff is great. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm really happy that I got this.I was looking for a protein powder with the lowest cost per gram of protein I could find, and I looked at quite a few different products. Many were about 40 cents per gram, and this 10 lb bag was only 28 cents per gram.It's unflavored, so I figured it would be pretty gross, given that many of the other flavored powders I've tried weren't that great. It turns out that other protein powder producers are making theirs taste worse by adding flavors. I mixed a pretty concentrated shake with milk and a serving of this stuff, and it really doesn't taste like much more than milk. It's very easy to drink, and I actually look forward to my next protein shake now, instead of the mild dread I felt when preparing to drink a mix of the other flavored stuff I've been using.I added a tiny bit of chocolate caramel coffee creamer to it and it went from fine to straight up delicious. I would drink that mix just for fun, similarly to how one would enjoy a regular chocolate milkshake.Also, this stuff is more concentrated than most protein powders, so it goes farther. One serving of this is a smaller scoop and contains as much protein as one serving of most other powders which use a larger scoop.I reckon you could mix this stuff with just about anything and it wouldn't alter the flavor too much, or at least not nearly as much as typical flavored mixes.

Been using whey protein forever, this is the best quality I have ever had. No bad taste, mixes with easy, another NOW TOP QUALITY PRODUCT! You always can count on NOW products, been with them for over 40 years, probably wouldn't be around to write this review if it wasn't for high quality NOW health products, they're a fantastic value.

Only two ingredients, whey protein isolate, which is 99% or more of it, and sunflower lecithin for keeping it from clumping or something. Unfortunately all these include a lecithin. At least this one uses sunflower and not stupid soy lecithin. I have literally eat many pounds of this stuff and never an issue, 100 outta of 100. Now sports products are awesome!!!

This unflavored whey isolate is very digestible protein with no lactose bloat, but the taste is not great. It is decent mixed with flavorful liquids like coffee and some juices, but not awesome tastingI use a lot of protein powder so this is a serviceable option that doesn't break the bank.

OK, seeing these other reviews on the high quality of this protein, I wont bother talking about that aspect of the product. I don't know about how good it is or how much muscle it builds, but since you all have enough reviews by bodybuilders and trainers to let you in on that, I'll just chime in on the part where I can best contribute; its taste or lack thereof. For those of you with very picky palates, or if you have a difficult time taking supplements and powders, like I USED to, you will finally find a home with this product. In fact, I tried about 30 brands, and I hated each one (except MGN 100% protein isolate). This one is truly amazing in that even my notorious taste buds could barely notice it was in the milk AT ALL!! It truly shocked me. So if you have a super picky palate (you know who you are) forget anything that isn't 100% whey protein ISOLATE. The other stuff, even if its called "Gold" or "Diamond" or "Platinum" standard, is nonetheless gritty and chalky to people who are sensitive to its presence in milk or juice. This brand, in particular, is fantastic in that it is tasteless for all intense and purposes. It instantly blends into the milk, no need for a blender. I couldn't believe how fast it dissolved into the milk, without me needing to stir the spoon very much.Now, that said, as I have previously stated, I'm a picky eater, and so even with this perfect protein, I do notice a little grittiness unless I pass it thru a superfine mesh strainer which takes out minute amounts of clumped up or undissolved protein. Mind you, the mesh catches almost nothing at all, compared to the clumped up globs of most other NON-isolate proteins which are mostly made of protein concentrate. Once passed thru the mesh, the resulting milkshake is as smooth and silky as if grandma had just churned it herself out on the back porch.Moreover, this particular unflavored powder allows you all the benefit of the protein, but without interfering at all with any flavors you want to add- thus allowing for endless variety. Or if you are a purest, then just put it in your milk, and if you taste it's presence to a degree that bothers you at all, then apply to a nearby culinary school, or Ben and Jerry's tasting lab because you, my friend, must truly have one of the world's most virtuoso sets of regally snobby taste buds. Trust me, I too have picky buds (my personal nightmare) and this brand's protein leaves them quite happily undisturbed.

Excellent whey protein powder and a great value with this size. NO SCOOP which is annoying but the product makes up for that. Has all the BCAA's for a basic balance, you can always supplement more if you want. I love NOW products.
