These are the BEST prunes I’ve ever purchased! They’re big and flavorful. And maybe best of all, they’re NOT gooey in the package. I’ve had other prunes that leave my hand gooier than the prunes themselves—or so it seems as I “extract” my hand!

First time purchasing this brand. Excellent flavor, sweet and juicy, and they work wonders in the digestive tract. Will definitely buy again.CAUTION: NOT ALL PITS HAVE BEEN REMOVED!Would have given 5 stars, but the first one I ate had a pit in it. I've found 3 more and I've only eaten about 15 prunes in three nights.

After trying several brands those are my favorite prunes, here is why* Flavor: Great plum/prune aroma and not too sweet. Very natural and un-tampered with.* Texture: Yes, they are drier and hence tougher than other prunes. This is great a) that helps with the digestion (draws water into the intestines), b) one can chew a bit longer on them, very satisfying snack c) no extra moisture making the package heavier d) this is how I remember plums from decades ago when many foods were more natural* Not as sweet as other brands: Just a personal thing, I dislike foods which are overly sweet. Those plums have just the natural sweetness. They have less calories than other brands I compared with.* Shipment was promptly.Other things noticed:* The color of those plums is dark and rich, some having a bit a greyish coloration. This has no influence on taste, texture, quality. I suspect that is just some of the sugars of the plums which during the drying process settle on the prune's skin.* They are very satisfying, as few as 2 prunes can lower hunger pangs and provide fresh energy.Overall this is a wonderful product, thank you!

Good value

I've been buying these prunes regularly, no pun intended, for a few years now. Up until recently, they've tasted great -- not like the crap you get at the supermarket. Suddenly, it seems I got a bad batch. Two bags of about to go bad, then gone totally bad prunes that caused one unopened bag to look as if it's about to explode. The prunes in the bag I opened tasted off and are now moldy and fermented. Same scenario with 2 bags of dates from this company. Not sure why the sudden change. I realize and appreciate these are organic dried fruits but I thought dried fruit didn't spoil. I suppose this is true for the stuff you get at the supermarket -- not organic -- but this is a first for Terrasoul. I'll have to chuck em all and am sorry I had to write this.Update: After the above review, customer service reached out. They were more than willing to make things right. After several back and forth emails containing photos and batch numbers, I received a refund. It wasn't for the full cost of 4 bags of bad prunes and dates but I'll let that go as I don't have the time or patience to request this. That being said, customer service is very good but I don't understand why the sudden dip in product freshness.
