I really love this lamp! I am surprised at how much I like the look of this! I have it in my bedroom and I leave it on all the time. I provides a nice night light that is very beautiful. The color is orange-yellow and is much nicer than I expected. The picture doesn't show the color correctly. It looks really bright white but it is more orange. The sculpted heart shape is very appealing and decorative. I am going to purchase a 2nd lamp for my meditation room. I love that it comes with a dimmer that adjusts the light all the way to off. The second lamp came and the color was quite different. I like it just as much and like that it has a different color. It is much lighter than the first one, which looks a lot like the pictures. The second one is lighter in color and more soft pink. Very pleasant. I did notice that they have increased the price $10 in the last 2 weeks. I think it is already a pricey item and now it is out of range of a price I would pay. I am glad I got them before the price went up. I think it is a lousy thing to do at Christmas time.

I bought mine for the air purifier function and got the extra value that it also serves as a nightlight.Excellent workmanship. It arrived fully assembled and carefully wrapped (double) within it's own box. It came with instructions for care, since the salt itself is hygroscopic, and then the seller followed up by e-mail to provide more information and to make sure I was happy with the product.It has a dimmer built in and when it is time to change the bulb that will be easily done. Since you will use this as an air purifier, as well as a nightlight, the normal position will be on. Therefore you should plan on changing bulbs when one burns out and should have a spare bulb or two on hand. They have them here on Amazon or you can hit your local HD or Lowes.Since the salt is hygroscopic it will draw the moisture in the air to it. That means if the light is not on it could sweat or drip. The warmth from the light allows the salt to ionize the impurities in the air which come with the attracted moisture. The instructions explain why and how the principle works. It also explains that if you will be turning it off for a period of time (traveling or vacation for example) that you should put it into a sealed plastic bag to separate it from the humidity. That way it won't sweat when you are away. You need only look at how carefully it was wrapped when you receive it to understand how seriously the manufacturer followed their own instructions.I have only used mine for a little less than 24 hours as of this writing. But even though my time of use is short, I noticed a difference in air quality when I entered the room it is in this morning. Frankly I was surprised at how quickly it works. It looks great, is well made, was well packaged and shipped super fast.My wife likes to run around turning off lights (electric costs money!) so my challenge will be to get her to leave this one alone. :-)5 stars all the way.

This salt lamp is beautiful, artfully designed. As to authenticity, I tested it, along with another salt lamp from a different company which i had purchased at the same time, in a humid environment for a number of hours. Eventually this lamp produced a small puddle on the paper towel which i had put between the lamp and a plate on which i had placed it. When i picked it up the entire lamp was sweating. The other lamp, carved beautifully also, unfortunately was dry as a bone. I removed this lamp but kept the other one another hour or so in the humid environment but, nope, not a tear drop so i returned it. I am very happy with this purchase knowing it is real, the lovely warm glow, and dealing with a trustworthy company. The cord stopped working shortly after purchasing it and Useful Innovation responded immediately and sent out another cord which i received in short order. I highly recommend this purchase and this company.

Very happy with my purchase. Just as advertised & seen in the picture. Even purchased another. I very much like the Heart shape. Have one in the bedroom & another downstairs that is left on thru the night every night. Gives off a pleasing, comfortable light that is soothing, but also lights up the room enough to walk, relax in, too. You can easily adjust the magnitude of the light generated by turning the dial. Very attractive looking whether the light is on at night or off during the day. Adds additional warmth to the decor of a room. Like it’s health benefits re: ions too.

So far I am giving it a 5. I bought this for my sister for her birthday. It came well packed. It came unbroken. How big it looked was exactly what I recieve. Since it was a gift it was all ramped in bumble paper. The cord was included in the bumble ramp. I assume it works. From what I can see it is really pretty. Might have to put this on my list for people to look at when they need to buy a present for me lol. 😀Update. I loved this so much I decided to keep this so I ordered another salt lamp for my sister. It is absolutely beautiful. Only thing was it has a little black spot on the top of this. I have it next a infuser. Looks great.

I brought 2 of these lovely, health and environmental aids. One to keep, one as a gift. It is beautiful, and it's variable brightness makes it a breeze to set to your needs. I refer to mine as "a gentle friend". The recipients of the gift just love theirs as well. We all have them on all the time. Thanks for such a great product!
