Strong and unbreakable ideal for boots
These are incredible laces, I wear specialist orthotic boots due to a physical disability and always have normal laces break due to ski hooks and tension required to keep boots on my feet. These are sturdy and I have not had any breakage nor do they untie themselves like normal laces do.Expensive but worth it knowing that I don't have to fasten them all the time and breakage is not an issue
User
Unbreakable or not these are worth the price!
I was going to come on here and have a bit of a moan, because one of my laces has begun to fray against my boot lace hole. But after realising I bought them five years ago I changed my mind, and bought a new pair! Considering I was getting through at least one pair of normal laces a year, these are worth the money. The other good lace looks like it could last another few years. Such a shame the other one frayed. They're otherwise excellent quality, and feel like they might come in handy in a survival situation if needed.
User
Very strong
Bought these to replace the laces in my new Scarpa walking boots as the original pair got a pull on them after a week. The seem very well made and I can envisage them lasting as long as the boots. We shall see! Usually I double knot my laces to stop them from loosening. However today I used a single knot to test them. After several hours only once did I have to re-tie one lace which is promising. Not the cheapest laces but most the time you get what you pay for and if these last like I think they will, its worth the extra money....Guranateed for life too but not sure how I go about claiming should they be compromised....So far so good 👍

Good but not perfect
Definitely don't last a lifetime, I've just purchased another pair after my pair from early 2022 finally snapped in my Altbergs, however they do last a LOT longer than normal laces. My original Altberg laces only lasted 6 months so can't really complain!

Tough laces that soften with use.
When you first get these laces they feel stiff and abrasive. After a short time they "soften" but never as soft as traditional laces, this isn't to say they get weaker...just easier on the fingers.. Initially they'll leave black lines on your fingers when you tie them. It feels like the black dye sits on the surface of the laces fibres and is ground against the other laces when they're tied this also means they fade slightly to a dark grey. Are they unbreakable? This pair outlasted the work boots I bought them for. The original laces that came with the boots lasted a few months before fraying quite badly. These had no visible damage after 7 months and other than the faded colour were as good as the day I laced them onto the boots. The only reason I changed them was that my new boots needed longer laces....so I immediately bought a longer set of these.

Superb, strong laces
I work in fuel delivery so have to wear specific boots that are oil and fuels resistant, with anti-slip soles and other requirements. The boots that meet the PPE requirements had laces fitted that were quickly cut up by eyelets that cut through the laces outer sleeve and then into the lace itself. These laces are amazing. I agree with other commenters who say they need double tying, but I was used to doing that anyway so it's not an issue for me. I didn't have the experience of colour coming off the laces onto my hands.I am hopeful these laces will outlast the boots by a comfortable margin and that they can be swapped over at a later date.
User
Expensive but not quality
The laces are OK and don't slip as some have suggested. They feel very strong but don't have much "give" in them. I bought black laces and whatever dye they use is not permanent, after only a few days they are more dark grey than black as the dye seems to wear off with use.
User
Looks to be hard wearing and delivery was quick.
Quick delivery, look exactly as described. Cannot vouch for their long term wearability as I need to use them for a couple of years. But they do feel like they should last and wear well.
User
Haven't broken yet. Colour is faded but otherwise perfectly serviceable.
Very strong and tough laces. They will almost certainly outlast most workboots. I would prefer metal aglets as opposed to plastic. You will initially find them to be very stiff and slightly difficult to tie for the first few weeks of wear, and you should double knot them lest they come untied. Once they are broken in, they are comparable to other laces in terms of feel.I have two hard wildland fire seasons on these laces and have subjected them to repeated soakings, unimaginable muskeg gunk, jet-A aviation fuel, month-long periods of dampness, ash pits, and other forms of abuse that the average boot-lace should not be subjected to. If anything, this has just helped to break them in.The laces have faded to a dull grey (originally brown), but if you are buying these, you shouldn't really give a damn about the colour. After two wildland seasons, the plastic aglets are beginning to delaminate, but this this has not yet affected the integrity of the lace itself.
User
Literally unbreakable.
My girlfriend asked "why didn't you just buy shoe laces from the store?" And I answered her by wrapping the laces around my hands and trying as hard as I could to rip them in half. They're the best shoe laces in terms of sheer strength no doubt. My only complaint is they're somewhat thin in size. At least compared to the leather laces I'm used to.

Avaliação do Cadarço
Ótima qualidade, mas pensei que a circunferência (espessura) era maior.
User
Hält
Hält. Hält einfach. Verliert die braune Farbe dabei, weil die einfach beim Schnüren laufend abgerieben wird, aber.... Hält.

A good quality product that definitely will last long
A solid, good quality lace with more than enough length. Laces are thin and stiff; the rough exterior actually prevents lace knot from untying. The color is versatile and goes with different shades of brown and tan shoes. I do recommend this product.
