I misplaced (threw away?) the original remote for our Mitsubishi ceiling unit and this one worked perfect after putting the batteries in!

It appears to work as a replacement for the Mitsubishi SG15H remote
The original Mitsubishi Remote on the left and this one on the right.Obviously, this is a first impression and only time will tell if it continues to work. It appears that the TIME/CLOCK is set to 24-hour or Military Time. Not sure how to get it to 12-hour display. But I definitely like the back light which briefly turned on at the press of a button. I was able to easily reset the fan speed and see what I was doing in my darkened bedroom. It has an extra "Sleep" button. The bottom-most left inset button is SENSOR on the original and C/F (centigrade/farenheit) on this one. The descriptive fonts are smaller on this remote. I had no trouble with battery security which was a complaint in one review.

the springs that hold battery in bad disappointedt credit is sad. Dont they inspect them first.
spring in battery compartment wont hold batteries in defective.

Doesn't have "sensor" button
Note that this remote does not have the "sensor" button that is on the original remote for systems that have the "I-See" feature. Seems like you must get an OEM remote to have that functionality.Remote works fine with the MSZ-FH15NA system except that you can't turn on the I-See feature.

Perfect Replacement
After almost 10 years the mitsubishi remote has died. This remote looks exactly the same as the one that died. It fits in the same wall mount. I put the batteries in, pointed it at the mini split and the buttons worked right away. At this time I highly reccommend!
