Neat-Oh! ZipBin Farmland Mini 40 Animal Tote w/ 2 Toys

My 3 year old daughter requested several animals for Christmas . . . a cow, a duckling, a horse, a puppy, you get the picture. I wasn't sure exactly what to get for her, but then I saw this on Amazon. Since I was limited to shopping online this season, I just went for it. It is totally adorable. The sides zip down to create a farm scene for my daughter to play with and when she's finished, they zip up to form this nifty little box. The lid (with a pond on the reverse side) goes on top and it has straps to carry it. It even comes with a couple of farm animals, but I bought a bag of a variety of plastic farm animals to go along with it. They all fit in the little box and it's perfect for taking in the car or to places where we might have to entertain her for a bit.This company makes other "zipbins," with themes like castles, cars, etc. I am definitely putting them on my list for birthday present ideas.

I have mixed reviews about this product. I bought it for my 18 month old to hold a set of 12, large plastic farm animals from Walmart. It holds all the animals almost perfectly and the mat is actually really cute. What I was unhappy with is that the description is not accurate. The carrier seems a lot smaller than described and therefore I don't think it's worth the price that I paid. (thank goodness it's Amazon prime so I didn't pay for shipping!) But it gets the job done so I'm satisfied. I will be adding Velcro strips to keep the top on (there is no way to secure it and I could see it falling off easily as my kiddo drags it around). Overall cute product! Next time I'll be sure to read the reviews first :)

I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this for my 3 yr old granddaughter. She loves to play dress-up and her parents wanted her dress up clothes to have a theme that went along with play items to increase her play pleasure and encourage imaginative play! (Mom is a 2nd grade teacher and her daddy is a child behavioral health consultant). SHE loved the cloth 'barn' and toys and wears them with the ranch costume I made her and girly cowboy hat I purchased from Amazon. Her imagination runs rampant when she plays with this set and it's gotten two thumbs up from Mom and Dad!

This is a great toy for any kid who loves farm animals. It is very travel friendly. I bought it for a friend who travels frequently. They take it on trips and the lid can be used to play with in their car seats. It doesn't take up much space but is just enough to distract them from the drive. The whole mat can be pulled out and played with when you get to where you are going too. I love the convenience of being able to store the animals inside the tote. It is small, but I like that about it. My only wish is that it came with a few more animals, but those can be purchased separately and are not very expensive. This is a great gift idea. The age I would recommend it is probably 3-5.

Love the idea, unfortunately just not crazy about the item. When you zip up the playmat, the zippers and the folded material jut into the tote, so you actually have a lot less room to put in items than the size of the tote. Also, the top is not secured in any way, and it doesn't stay on all that well, certainly not well enough for me to let my toddler carry it with items inside. Finally, when you lay out the playmat, it doesn't lay flat enough for figures to stand. We were using this for my daughter's Little People farm animals and people, and I didn't mind so much that only a few would fit, but I did mind that those sturdy Little People couldn't stand up on the mat. Not quite to the point of throwing it out, but close. Definitely won't buy others, which is too bad, cause they're cute.

What a disappointment! Neat idea, but not functional. My 5 year old son is obsessed with farms and he didn't even play with this. Its flimsy, awkward to zip and unzip, the lid goes missing and it is very small - smaller than a shoe box.

This was a wonderful find. It is small - note dimensions - so this is our "travel tote." I let my kids put a few animals in this, and we take it with us to family-style restaurants...before/after their food comes, it is just small enough to set up on the table in a placemat-size area. My kids (2 and 5) love that this is a special toy tote just for their animals. We have also been using it to take a few toys to grandma's house for overnight.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. Was smaller than I thought but ended up the perfect size for him, he is 3. Doesn't take up a lot of room when opened up like these rug/mats do so it was perfect for his room. Comes with a couple figures but he piles more stuff in it and mommy just zips everything up in it sets it in corner out of way. Good buy. We loved it.
