My family relocated across country because my wife got a new job. Life the brave settlers of old we chose to make the trek...unlike the brave settlers we chose to entertain our children with Amazon fire tablets. I drove the moving truck and my wife drove our two children (aged 3 and 4). We averaged about 10 hours a day...all the other parents are terrified I know.Anyway, since my wife was driving, we chose these car mounts for our kids tablets. They worked very well. Simply and straightforward installation and the adjustments worked very well so our kids could reach their tablets to change shows, movies, games, etc.This is altogether a great product and was durable in our 2000+ mile trek.

Great product and is solid. Mounted-up to the headrest and helped with our toddler riding in the backseat on the trip to Florida. This is a solid mount, and there was hardly any bounce at all as the mount rests against the headrest and back of the seat to provide more support. Held the iPad as indicated, but our toddler was able to pull it out of the mount. Without her pulling the iPad out of the mount, the holder held the iPad securely and was able to provide her with many hours of viewing pleasure until she became bored.

We must have received a defective product, or this is not designed to hold an iPad. The product was properly installed and we removed the protective case from the iPad to ensure the best fit. Nevertheless, the iPad fell out of the holder several times at routine (i.e., small) bumps in the road during a 4 hour car ride.More disappointing than the product is the customer service. Within a day of receiving the product I had an email from Nina at Bestrix asking if we were happy with the product and requesting that we leave positive feedback on Amazon. I replied to that email by sharing my experience (above). I received no response and instead, three days later, received another email from Nina asking that I leave feedback on Amazon regarding the product. Well, Nina, here it is.

Great product. We have a GMC Acadia and there is not much room under the headrest to fit these types of devices. Several of the reviews on Amazon (for other products) said they would not fit on an Acadia.But this one does. It fits great. Now I have two quiet children in the back seat on long trips!Pros:Fits well.Nice ability to angle the tablet.Cons:I gave it only 4 stars because of the mounting wheel. The device comes with a piece of rubber you wrap around your headrest before tightening it down. However the mounting wheel needs to be just a little bigger. You have to get the rubber perfect and then it takes a lot of force to get it back connected before you can tighten it. If they made it a little bigger this would be 5 stars.

This is awesome! I was skeptical and a bit hesitant to buy this but like all Amazon purchases I listened to the reviews and took the plunge. I am so glad I did! This worked PERFECT for our 14 hr car ride with our 6 yr old. He was able to watch movies, netflix and play games on his Ipad the whole time. When the Ipad was attached to the mount he was still able to reach it in order to switch shows or pick a different movie. The mount is an arm so you are able to move it closer or farther way. My son was also able to disconnect the Ipad from the mount himself and after a few tires he was able to put it back in the mount himself. Seriously best road trip purchase ever!

I like this mount. It is easy to install and holds my tablet pretty well. I use it in the backseat, under my carseat mirror and it fits pretty well. The mirror sits on the headrest facing my rear facing carseat and the mount sits below the headrest attached to one of the headrest bars. So I installed it as low as I could, and it fits below the mirror. it is adjustable and seems to fit the tablet snugly, without loosening throughout the ride. My big concern was the tablet falling out and hitting my little one. It is pretty sturdy from the 2 short car rides I have tried it out on. There are 2 things I do not really like (the reason I gave it 3 stars):It barely fits my 9 inch nexus 9 tablet. I had to take the case off, which I do not like, and it barely fits in landscape! Also, because it is so snug inside the clips, the rubber from inside the clip is already starting to come apart and I have only used it twice. If the rubber comes out, the clip will no longer hold the tablet securely. I am concerned about this. It says it will fit up to an 11 inch tablet, but If you have an 11 inch tablet, I do not know how you are going to use this, except in portrait position only!Although I am a product reviewer, I purchased this product at full price as a consumer.

We recently purchased a new car and were bummed that it did not have the televisions in the back seat for long trips with our 2 and 8 year old daughters. A couple of weeks ago we embarked on our first road trip to Disneyland and bought this gadget in hopes that Toy Story and Nemo could come along for the drive. Set up was easy, and the arms are very sturdy. Our Mini iPad fit in tight, despite the two year old climbing "through" it and trying to grab it. The iPad did not budge. The easy release button works great as well. This item is definitely worth the cost, and so much cheaper than installing TV's in the back seat! Happy kiddos = happy mom! Works great for my son to be able to watch movies on long car trips. He had been holding the iPad in his lap as we traveled and I hated how close to his face he was holding it and/or his head being slumped down looking at his lap for so long. This was perfect - he was able to sit back comfortably in his seat (car seat) and watch. I love how many different ways you can bend/position the mount. Set up was a breeze - it's nice to be able to take it off and store it when it's not needed!
