I absolutely love this night light. I bought 2. One for me and one for a gift. Mine is installed on my commode as it is recommended. Super easy to install and the arm easily adjusts to fit over different size bowls. The rotating colors is pretty cool. It kind of fades from one color to the next. It needs to be pretty dark for the light to come on so you do not have to worry about wasting battery juice. The motion sensor is pretty sensitive in my opinion. As soon as I walk in to the room or even by the door the light comes on. You can adjust where you have the light on your commode if it is coming on too much. My cat walking by the door will make the light come on. Which is fine. I used a generic brand battery from Walmart and the light is still going strong. Also if you turn the light on in the room the nightlight will immediately go off.The night light does not come with batteries so you will need those. It takes 2 double AA. It also comes with an air freshener. Just a small square thing you put in the front of the unit by lifting it up and placing scented square in and snap front back down. I have never been able to smell the air freshener at all. To me this does not matter I still would purchase this exact unit again if I needed one some where else.The one I gave as a gift, they did not want to put it on the commode, so it is hanging on the toilet paper dispenser. The light still comes on as soon as you walk in the room. It lights up the area where the commode is and makes it easy to see in the dark. So much better than having to turn on a bright light...which is super annoying in the middle of the night.I would definitely recommend this product and would purchase again. Either for myself or for a gift.

Just be sure to hang it where it can detect motion so that it turns on. I got this for my husband so that he can "aim" better in the dark. So far, works like a charm! If the folks in your life that have dangly bits have trouble aiming at night, this seems to be the ticket. If you live in a place where critters might show up in your toilet, this is easily bright enough to see them before sitting down. If you have littles one who are scared of the toilet at night, I think this would work well for that too!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought batteries for this and they were advertised wrong. 3 AAs would never fit in this. Now I’m having to spend more on batteries due to false advertising.Other than that the product is cool no issues with the product itself. Just would prefer if description was more accurate.

This is an excellent product until it stops working. I changed the batteries because that why I thought it stopped but not so.

This a great gift if you have adult sons still living at home and you share a bathroom. No pee drippers on the seat because it shines just enough light to see but it’s not overwhelming that it will shock you awake like the bathroom light. It also has a sanitizer in it and comes with a refill. The first time my husband used my bathroom and he didn’t know it was there I could hear him yelling “what the” you can fill in the rest. I got this for a stocking stuffer for my son and it made a great gag gift that is very handy.

The way my boyfriend and I have argued over this thing's usefulnessTruly, when I get up to go to the bathroom at night, I don't want to turn the overhead light on. As soon as I walk in the bathroom, the light turns on, and its just enough light to see what you're doing without waking you up completely. Fits super easy over the rim, and surprisingly doesn't effect the seat at all, and really hasn't gotten dirty over a year of having it. ITHINKITSGREAT

This is the second toilet light I have bought...but this one is a different brand.frankly I liked the old one better. Reasons...there is a white night light outside the toilet the activates at the same time that the colored light inside the bowl activates. In my opinion it totally takes away from the cool colored lights that the toilet light is known for. Also the deodorizer is not something I'd pay extra for either. Just put it in...can't smell it at all. That being said.... I love the toilet light...just like the plain Jane one better!

I originally bought this mostly for the light aspect of it, to use as a bathroom nightlight since my husband doesn't like to turn the light on if he has to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I didn't really expect much from the UV cleaning aspect. But it really works! This is actually the second one I"m buying, the first bit the dust a few months ago, and in the few months we didn't have one the toilet got dirty so much faster. Really a great product - makes your toilet look cool and helps keep it clean.
