Decent headphones, great value
If you are looking for a comfortable and versatile pair of over-ears with decent sound quality for as cheap as possible, this is a great choice. The ear cups are on the small side for over-ears but they fit comfortably, and the compactness is handy. The clamp strength is quite strong, which is good, other than it can squeeze a little too hard if you are wearing them for multiple hours at a time. Battery length is great, as advertised, and it is handy that it uses the same charger as an iPhone. The audio quality is quite serviceable for the price range. They are obviously not going to stand up against headphones in higher price ranges, but there is nothing distractingly off about the audio of these. It is flat but pretty clear. I use these as my backup pair to my Sony WH-CH720n headphones (which are worth $150 and which have much more in depth EQ options), and the downgrade between them is not as drastic as you might expect. The Bluetooth connection works pretty well overall, other than it can be a little wonky to switch between multiple devices. It's doable, but you might have to fiddle with the Bluetooth settings on every device to make it happen.

Sound - Great! Feel- Great! No Microphone!
Sound Performance So, they sound phenomenal. I am the superintendent at a golf course country club, and spend a ton of my day driving around on loud equipment (mowers/blowers/sanders/etc.) These things cancel that noise out, deliver powerful sound with great bass for headphones. Quality vs. Cost Couldn't be happier with the quality of these things either. I am rough on them. Sweat a lot in the sun, doesn't phase them. They get tossed around as I'm on and off equipment all day, doesn't phase them. For the price, I don't know if theres a better deal out there. Comfortability They aren't too hot on your head either when wearing them to do outdoor activities. Very comfortable. I wear these things 10-15 hours a day some days straight through. Can barely even tell your wearing them. If I'm not jamming on them, I forget they're on sometimes. Battery Longevity Battery lasts forever at full volume. I've never had them for on me while using them. There are clear indicators that let you know when the battery is getting low (female voice literally tells you), and when you turn them on, she will tell you if your battery is full, or what percent they are at. Ease of Use Very easy Bluetooth set up procedure. Very easy to understand controls. Very clear instructions come with it to explain controls. Surprising this day and age when everything comes from a country that does not use English as it's first language. They have a good translator/transcriber, or they at least sourced that work in the States. Downsides Comes with a charging cable that is 6" long. That's 6 inches, not feet. No charging box comes with it. There is also no microphone. Overall Highly recommend these headphones. They look good, feel good, and most importantly, they sound amazing!

Good Overall for the Price; Lag Compensation is Very Annoying
Let me start by saying that for the price I do think these are great headphones for audio (as opposed to audio accompanying video; more on this at the end of the review). Studio Pros are durable, their battery life is fantastic, and most importantly they are super comfortable because each phone fits around your entire ear, and exerts no pressure on the ear itself, so they don't hurt after a long listening session (also with no synthetic fabric touching the ear, they're surprisingly a lot less sweaty than smaller headphones in warm weather). There is one substantial problem with this model that I wish J-Labs would fix, however: Probably in an effort to compensate for wireless audio transmission lag, these actually have a kind of reverse or negative lag, where the sound feeds on the headphone BEFORE it occurs in a video file. So, for example, if you're watching a movie you'll hear a character say a line about 1/5 of a second before you see their mouth move. It's a very pronounced effect and annoying/distracting enough that I mostly avoid using these headphones for video. This is my third pair of JL Studio Pros so I know this problem is a function of the model itself, not a malfunction with my particular set, and I also know it's something JL could solve for if they wanted to, because I've also had several pairs of JL AirSports and they do not have this problem. Keep in mind also that while the audio out is very decent for the price, audio in is extremely poor, all but non-existent; it's not a big deal as this technically isn't a headset, but worth noting if you intend to e.g. use them for work and go back and forth between listening to music/podcasts and attending meetings. Despite the few shortcomings, I still highly recommend.

Perfect
I have the JLab Studio Pro+, which are incredibly comfortable with great sound quality, and are the only headset I can handle long-term with my migraines and my autism. When my son, also autistic, kept stealing them because of how comfortable the are since they don't sit ON the ears, but over/around them, I figured I'd buy him his own. However, at half the price of the Pro+ and the ONLY differences between the two being that the + has a slightly longer battery life and has multi-connectivity, these are absolutely perfect and he loves them.

Highly Recommend
I find these very comfortable. More comfortable than the headphones I spent way more money on. The earpieces fit completely over my ears so my ears do not get irritated when I wear them. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet I could wear these on a long plane flight and be comfortable the entire time. I am not an audiophile so my review of the sound quality is a bit meaningless. But for simple listening to podcasts or music needs, they work great for me. If you need better sound then you had best be looking at those high-end brands. I like the three sound settings and they are easy to switch between while you are listening to music so you can hear which option you prefer. They seem to hold a charge for a long time. They did not come with a travel case so when I do fly, I will have to figure out how to pack them safely without a case. But at this price, I wouldn't expect a case to come with them. Because I have had them only for a month or two now, I really can't report on their long-term durability, but they don't feel cheaply made to me. If you care for them properly, I think they should last quite a while.

Worst Headphones In the History of Headphones
I had another pair of Jlab headphones. I forget the model number, I got them in 2022, maybe 2023, they served me well & I lost them. RIP. So I got this model. I was enjoying them out the box, they felt nice and snug. I am not an audiophile, but for my needs--mostly listening to audio from my laptop and phone, they sounded great. For a day. Then they just didn't want to pair anymore. I went through 101 hoops, reset, made sure my machine was updated blah blah.. I even watched a few tutorials (While I am not a religious person, I am certain there is a VIP section in heaven for the folks who make tutorials on mundane items). Nope. I contacted the company. They replied quickly. Then they said they would replace them if I "destroyed them in water" and filmed it. I get it, they want to make sure people are not being shady. I worked retail and I have heard and seen all sorts of elaborate stories to get free things, so I wasn't annoyed. But, I am old fashioned and I am disabled, so it went through the exchange with Amazon. Got my new pair. Certain they'd be fantastic. But nope. Same thing. This pair matches. Then discharges. Then I have to match them again to get it to stick. I read enough people with the same issue on various sites to come to the conclusion that this particular model is a lemon and why I am giving it one star. I debated about doing as such, but I continue to use the second pair as backups when my other pair by another brand that starts with "J" is charging and I am reminded every time I actually need to use them for something timely that they stink. I would have returned this pair but life happened, I missed the window and I am stuck. I am not throwing in the towel with Jlab, the other pair had was great and they have nice CS folks. I don't know who is leaving these fantastic reviews, but they must have a different batch or made the mistake of reviewing them within the first couple of days of owning them. But I can't in good concious recommend this model.

Sounds and feels cheap, but reasonably comfortable
I ended up returning these because they felt and sounded cheap. They do have good comfort for the price. Some other bluetooth headphones I have used for comparison are: Sony MDR-ZX750BN($60, On-Ear, 2014) SkullCandy Riff ($50, On-Ear, No headband cushion) SkullCandy Grind ($40, On-Ear) SkullCandy Crusher Evo ($140, Over-Ear) The JLab Studio Pro physically felt and sounded the cheapest out of all of these, so much so that I decided to return it. It just felt cheap to pick up, the cheap kind of plasticky. I think it would break easily if I used it regularly. The sound wasn't as full as other headphones I'd used, and also just sounded far away. I don't really consider myself an audio expert but I really didn't like the sound. The EQ settings didn't help. If you aren't picky with sound, or you aren't used to other headphones, maybe you won't be bothered by this. However, it was pretty comfortable, especially at this price range. Neither the ear cushions nor the headband felt like they would cause any discomfort over a long period of use. It might be the most comfortable out of all the headphones I listed above, especially if you prefer an over-ear fit to on on-ear fit. The cheap feel and sound was just too distracting for me to enjoy the comfort. As for ports, it has a USB-C port for charging which is nice and convenient. There is no 3.5mm audio port for backup if you run out of battery or need to plug in to an older bluetoothless device. I am more used to on on-ear fit, so for now I ended up going with the Skullcandy Grind, which sounds better and feels more premium, but for most people would probably not be more comfortable.

Best balance between performance and value.
I've been an audiophile freak for close to 40yrs. As such, I mock cheap gear, especially the end gear, that being speakers and headphones. I did not buy these for myself, but was really impressed with the bass and overall sound quality. They are comfy on the head with no ear fatigue, and the battery lasts an hours long listening session with plenty to spare. Bluetooth range was adequate in the 1200sq ft, single floor listening space. Side note - I was not super familiar with JLab, and bought these only because I have a set of JL ear buds I use for podcast at work. While I cannot comment on sound quality of those based on podcasts, I have been impressed with the durability. Because podcast, I never spent much money on 'buds, and usually got 3-6mo out of a pair. The JL's have lasted 2yrs thus far. Based on that alone, I looked to JLab for a reasonably priced pair of full 'phones when one of my kids asked for a Bluetooth set. Again, I am pretty impressed. A note on poor reviews. I have seen a few complaining of buttons wearing out an sticking. I will update this review if that happens (I update ALL my reviews). As far as the complaints of them not pairing, failing after first use, and poor sound quality: You have to keep in mind $40 (believe it or not) is NOT a lot of money for headphones. That said, you have to expect some quality control issues. Bad sets will make it in a box. Cheap 'phones, or most anything for that matter, or a gamble. I honestly think these are a good gamble. Buy with confidence. On the off chance you get a bum set, JLab claims a 24-48 response to all issues. I am certain they will make it right. For best response, I would suggest you contact them directly. Google JLab for their website….
