Perfect fit into my water filter tank. My older ones tended to get distorted if used too many times. That leads to leaks. The price of these is just right to buy a new one for every six month replacement. No leaks the first time I used it., and I did not have to reinstall it. I will be buying these repeatedly.

Perfect fit on water filter housing. Best practices are to replace o-ring on filter housing with each filter change. I put a light coat of 100% silicone on the o-ring before putting in housing channel to prevent any binding when tightening.

I use these for a Big Blue Water filter and change them every 6 months along with the water sediment filter itself. Easy to install, just follow the instructions. Give these a light coat of food-grade silicon grease (Not Vasiline), hand tighted and then give about 1/8 turn with the filter wrench. No leaks.

Worked fine on my Pentek Big Blue filters. They are a bit thin, but do the job. I had a slight leak (only a drip) on one of the filters after installation, but that stopped after less than 24 hours as the o ring swelled a bit. Just a note that these o rings will swell after use. They will not fit back in the groove because the circumference increases and they will not lay flat in the groove. Always have new o rings on hand when you change your filter or it will be a frustrating experience.

Don’t believe the AI overview or negative comments. These are the real deal. I just tried one of the three o Rings last night and it fits literally perfect. These guys should have made the OEM O rings because my original one was stretched out and this replacement one was perfect. I have the Big Blue Pentek OPAQUE 10 x 4.5 inch system. It sat perfectly in the borders of the cylinder and I was able to secure it with minimal lubricant grease my first attempt refastenig the cynlinder. Could not be happier with these O rings please don’t hesitate it’s totally worth the 15 dollars to not struggle with a heavy filter system.
