A £20+ headset that brings you close to HyperX style, comfort and audio quality!
A bit of background about me, I have a HyperX Cloud Alpha, Razer Electra V2, Asus ROG Fusion 700 and a Playstation Gold Headset.I was looking for a cheap headset to see if you can actually get the quality of any of those I named above for a cheaper price.ValueWhat’s in the box? The EKSA E900 Gaming Headset, removable mic, 3.5mm audio cable, 3.5mm splitter, instruction manual and a leatherette carry pouch. The fact that it comes with the splitter is amazing! I prefer the cable that comes with this compared to the HyperX Cloud Alpha cable that always seem to twist.ComfortThis EKSA E900 headset is easily more comfortable to use than the ROG Fusion 700, being a wired headset, it is a lot lighter than the ROG Fusion. It’s just as comfortable as the Razer Electra V2. The HyperX Cloud Alpha beats it, only just. The ear cushion cover on the HyperX is just that bit better quality. But I could and have easily used this on a 3-hour stream without any issues pains or aches at all. Well done!SoundThe EKSA E900 is easily on par with the more expensive Razer Electra V2 in terms of sound quality. For the price, it’s very good. This is the area where you can tell the difference between it and the HyperX & ROG. But that’s not a fair comparison to begin with. Even with the Razer, but it just goes to show that sometimes, you actually get more than you pay for.MicBeing a streamer, mic is very important to me. The fact that my teammates or my followers couldn’t tell the difference between it and the HyperX mic, just shows that the quality of this mic. It’s better than the ROG and the Razer in this department.Style:You can’t deny that it looks almost identical to the HyperX, hence the comparison is easily made. It looks better than the Razer Electra V2 (for me anyway). Unless you’re streaming, nobody would know that you’re not using a headset from a smaller company than what other people/streamer use. It’s a nice surprise for the start of 2020 for me.I don’t normally write reviews, unless it’s something special or a great value product. This is well worth the £20+ it costs. The fact that it got compared to products up to 10 times more expensive is testament to its quality and value. It’s very close to HyperX Cloud Alpha in looks and quality that you have ask yourself if the better quality earmuff covers or the slightly fuller sound is actually worth up to £70 more. This budget headset is anything but budget apart from the price. Well done to the EKSA team for creating a high quality headset for the budget conscious (and everyone willing to have an open mind)!

5 star for price and best used for FPS games
For the price these headphones represent fantastic value initial thoughts when opening these are that I'd they where from a well known brand they would be £50 to £70.The cable is not braided but feels thick and study and the mic mute switch is a great feature. The metal headband is what really sets these apart from similar priced models from turtle beach. The detachable microphone is great and spares are available for £5 😁 You also get a nice slip bad and a y splitter for pc connections. Although I would of like to of seen the splitter using the same quality and thickness of the attached cable. You also get a warranty card for extended warranty and free gift😁Comfort is really good for the price they are super light and the headband offers lots of cushion. The earcup aren't my cup of tea I prefer soft velour types but you won't find that at this price range. EKSA do sell upgraded replacement cushions though. Although if you want the protein memory foam you may find the pro version of this headset a better value. As for sound these are more than acceptable for the price range not bad but not great. As with most gaming headsets sub £100 you will find an emphasis on bass and high/trebles with a recessed midrange. This works great for shooter games and I was easily able to pick out footsteps in cod, battlefield and Fortnite. But if you also love open world and cinematic games like The Witcher and Tomb raider then these might not be for you. I'm not giving EKSA a con for this as I mentioned you will find this with most headsets in this price range and many twice it's price.Music is more of the same although dance music and rap generally sounded pretty great. They really did rumble in the bass department with "Red lights Gold Teeth" I found the lacking mid range not overally enjoyable with rock and acoustic tunes.mic quality is as expected at this price there is some noise when just recording a voice over but this mostly reduces when playing game audio with it. The recently released RTX voice makes this mic sound more in the price range of £20 than £15 but that does come with a 10% performance penalty when gaming.Pros -*super build quality with lots of comfort and upgradable cushions*Great for FPS gamers*Detachable mic and mute switch*Lots of rumble in the bass departmentCons* Non detachable Jack cable*Not the biggest headset those with large heads might not like these*A slight boost to the mid range would make these the must buy under £100

Good Cheap Headset
Bought this as a gift for a friend who's headset was on the way out. It all worked right out of the box with no issues. Sound quality was okay, Nothing extreme but good for a low price headset.Since using it my friend has sold their Xbox one and now uses it with their laptop. There's been 0 faults.
