I use this with Alexa, which works excellently after setting up the app and giving Alexa access. About every 3 or 4 months, one of the lights might stop responding to Alexa - but it continues to work with its native app. I simply turn off the power for about 5 seconds and then turn it back on, wait, and everything works.

Have gotten other bulbs that don’t show colors as well as these. I mostly got these to have a red light beside lamp and it’s perfect! At first I thought it was too dim, but your eyes really do adjust and I can still read with the red light. The scheduling feature took a couple hours to sync to the minute, but couldn’t be happier. The app is already easy to use and very customizable. I downloaded Tuya btw.

This smart bulb is really great once you get it configured into your network. Alexa dutifully turns it on and off, the app permits color temperature adjustment, and effects like colors, and audio sync lighting through your smartphone. You can operate this bulb from anywhere you can get a WiFi or cellular internet connection, and the SmartLife app offers a comprehensive environment for controlling myriad SmartLife compatible devices. That's the good news.The not-so-good news is that when I bought this just a few days ago, it was an Amazon's Choice item. I now notice that Amazon has granted that honor to a different line of smart bulbs. My wife (chemical engineer) and I (electrical & network engineer) struggled to follow the instructions and actually get this thing set up on our WiFi network. They should ship this thing either with 1) better instructions or 2) a bottle of Scotch, or perhaps even better, 3) a more straightforward setup process engineered into the system in the first place.I can understand why Amazon is no longer placing their Amazon's Choice recommendation on this thing and why they seem to be bumping it down the search engine hierarchy. If I had to support this product, I'd probably do the same thing. That's too bad because once you actually succeed in getting it set up, it's really a pretty nice smart bulb and smart device environment.

I put them in my Ceiling fan light And I love them I programed them on the app on my phone and then added them to my Alexa. So awesome

I wouldn’t order again though because the set up requires another app install on your phone. Much easier to the Segnal bulbs.

Had no problem connecting these over Wi-Fi using the supplied instructions and the Smart Home app. They needed a firmware update out of the box but the updating process was automatic, easy, and flawless. I have three of the four bulbs installed, saving the fourth as a spare for now. No problems with any bulbs. I can control brightness, warmth, and color with the Smart Home app. You can also operate the bulbs on a programmed schedule, but I haven't done that so I can't comment on that (though I'm reasonably certain it would work fine). Also, I don't use Alexa or Google Assistant, so no comments on that either.

Simple lights, with some versatility. Used in a couple accent lamps, set the color using the app to create some mood lighting, integrated with the Alexa app for voice and app control. Pretty straight forward.
