Winter game changer
Small extension with a heater which took ages to heat the room. This was a game changer. Heats room really well.

Mains cable lead is only 1.3m
I wanted a small electric heater to sit in a specific place in a small room and this seemed to be just the right size and shape. However, the mains plug is not that close to where I wanted to place it. The product description says nothing about the length of the mains plug cable. I looked everywhere to find out how long it is but could only find something that said 'extra long' in the product description elsewhere on the internet. I thought I'd chance it and even the product instructions that it arrived with said 'extra long'. Well, it's not extra long at all, only 1.3m. That may work for most, but not for where I needed to use it. Though in fairness, it heats up quickly and well, and for a fan heater it's not loud. Even so, I decided to return as the cable is simply way too short; the instructions 'recommend' NOT using an extension lead, although 'if you need to' it's apparently ok, though with some caveats that worried me. The 3 stars is entirely down to the length of the cable.

Good value for money! But a bit noisy & more ££ to run
The product is everything it says on the tin. It has 6 heat settings. I never go past setting 2 because it’s really warm. A good gadget.*However I would note, fan heaters are expensive to run with it being around 13p-15p per minute whereas Halogen heaters are 5-7p per minute. So if you’re watching the leccy bill, there are cheaper alternatives.Only real “downside”/“even better ifs” are:- It’s a bit noisy. Not extremely but it’s noticeable when on.- The lead isn’t very long.
