Good, but be aware of the size - it's VERY tight for a Q2U
This is lightweight, sturdy, and provides good isolation. I like it.But, I don't like it a lot for one reason. It is sold as 'Shock Mount Mic Holder For Samson Q2U'That's my mic.The mic does fit. But it is VERY tight - this mic takes the mount to the absolute linit of its capacity. Therefore getting the mic into it is tricky. And the retractor clips are not as sturdy as the rest of the mount. Many times, they popped out of their holders when trying to open the clamp enough. I did get the mic in, but it was frustrating and I am concerned that repeated insertion/extraction may cause the clips to bend or break.

Broke 24 hours Later
So I was asking a lot buying a shock mount with a 1-star review but there isn't an awful lot of choice when it comes to having a Samson Q2U, so I went ahead with the purchase regardless.Actually fitting the Q2U in the mount was a 2 person job, as others have stated, the fit is extremely tight, and I had to push the Q2U in, while someone else was holding the mount. Yes, the lever arms were depressed fully. So after initially being impressed and wanting to give it a 4-star review, along came the next issue.... The bolt and thread holding the shock mount at an angle have threaded leaving the mic dangling now and possibly rendering the mount useless. My only option now is to just let the mount hang off the boom arm and use the boom arm to adjust any angle, not sure if it will work but what options are there?Shame really, this could have been a great shock mouth if they used a beefier bolt.EDITI have changed my rating from 1 stars to 2 stars. The mount does work really well at absorbing vibration and does hold the mic in so tight, there is no fear of it falling out. But because of the bolt issue, I can only have it angled at around 45 degrees towards my mouth using the boom arm screw instead. Works perfect with a dynamic mic, but if you had a condenser, this would now be going in the bin.
