It is beautiful, the paper is unique and the quill is darling. My cat thought it was a bird for him to attack so I had to hide it from him. Can’t wait to start using it.

Quality Journal
This journal is quality craftsmanship. The detail is astounding. The pen comes with a functioning calligraphy nib. You will need ink for it, but I had some on hand so it was no issue. You could even keep the pen as a collector piece and use regular ballpoint pen. I DEFINITELY recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.

Book is good
I like the actual note book. Disappointed with the feather “pen” because it’s not a functional pen. Purely decoration. I would have gotten a different book with more pages for a similar price had a known that.

This is actually a gift for my niece she love writing stories. I love the way it looks it's so cute and antique look. I cant wait til she opens her gift bag n sees it. I may just buy another for me just because I like how it looks. Lol

Beautifully embossed well done Journal
This was a gift for my daughter as her writing journal. the Phoenix is beautifully embossed gives it an old-time feel and the feather pen was a nice added feature. The paper is a thick fiber paper
