Penn 525 Mag4 / Multiplier Fishing Reel

Purchased this reel as an upgrade from my old 7ht which had seen better days, was recommended this reel by a few others, I wasn't disappointed, it casts very smooth, the adjustable mag breaks, were easy to set up, and the high line retrieve rate made light work of my 200+ yard casts. I went to dungeness fishing to try this out and caught a 15lb cod and this reel made light work with all the built in functions. Would I recommend? Yes definitely great price, great construction, easy to use,

It came early and in perfect condition

Nothing to dislike,my first multiplier. A few teething problem,but that was me. Not the reel,a perfect starter reel for money. You can't go wrong.1

Delivered as suggested and well packaged. Looks aesthetically good and well made. Found that when the drag was taken off, the handle was stiff causing the spool to turn. Took it apart and cleaned the internals & applied new grease & oil where required. Refitted and working perfectly. Used during a fishing session casts well with a great retrieve.

Amazing piece of kit for the money.

Usual Penn quality built to last people moan because they are made in China it makes no difference they are spill a quality piece of kit. I have a mag 2 it’s still running perfectly well. These Penn reels won’t give you the longest casts but they will wil take the knocks of the real world
