Our water has been contaminated for a while, keep getting those letters from the water board. So this filter saved me. 2nd time buying and looooove the way the ice tastes.

I want to believe this is doing what it needs to be doing to clean the water and keep the machine from building up with hard water deposits, but not yet sure. It definitely reduces water flow but it doesn’t seem to impact ice production directly. I already use filtered water for the machine so this was an additional protection barrier.

I bought this ice maker without fully understanding the upkeep. I am so glad i can get these filters online. They get here quick, easy to install, and have had no problems with the filters.
