Steel Bench Block 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" Flat Anvil Jewelers Tool Metal Bench Block for Jewelry & Stamping(2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 7/8")

It's a 2.5" x 2.5" x 0.875" block of ferrous steel. It will surface rust unless protected. Covering it with a thin layer of machine oil (or equivalent) has been very effective in maintaining the surface finish.

Very sturdy. Item arrived as described. Works as it should. There are some tooling marks but nothing too drastic that would damage anything. Would recommend.

The chamfers were rough. The sides were unpolished and had machine marks. For the price, it was a disappointing purchase. Will not buy here again. In future, I'll go back to using metalsmith/leathercraft supply sites: they have better quality tools, a larger variety, and much better pricing.
