i made a few soaps in my time with embeds on top but i wanted to make something fancy for myself with my coconut oil. I needed a moon and a snow flake. So i saw this and i grabbed it. the mold was a bit difficult to get together. tight fit is best and honestly i see why. added some real plant color to it and some melt and pour soap. usually melt and pour on a mold, will tell if its good or not when you take it out of the mold. this mold was actually better than i expected! after i demolded the snow flake there was only one single line down the side that apparently i did not get closed correctly so i tried it again! second time was a charm and it came out perfect! i messed up on my soap though added the snow flake into the sky instead of it into the snow like i wanted, but look at that soap! Snow flakes make everything better! Even if you mess up! I do have to say that it is bigger than my mold is so i had to cut down the soap. Great quality silicon mold. There’s no bulging or leaking. Opens and inset removes easily.
