Good Switch. Documentation Could Be Better, But It Works.
Important to Note:Terminals 2 & 4 are tied together, internally, and Term's 6 & 8 are tied together, internally. The diagram shows this as "1 Phase" and "2 Phase". These connections cannot be removed. There is also a supplied (removable) jumper, installed between Term's 4 & 6, which effectively ties all the even-numbered terminals together.If using a "common" supply (e.g., one input, with four selectable outputs), then leave the jumper in (between 4 & 6) and supply any one of the EVEN side terminals with your "common" supply power. Then the ODD numbered terminals will be switched ON in sequence, as the switch is rotated, as follows:Position 0 (zero) everything is OFF.Position 1: turns on terminal #1 only.Position 2: turns on Term. #3 only, #1 goes OFF.Position 3: turns on Term. #5 only, #3 goes OFF.Position 4: turns on Term. #7 only, #5 goes OFF.In addition, all of the contacts are "Break before Make", so there is "overlap" of the outputs (one turns OFF before the next turns ON).This is a decent rotary switch. It rotates easily without much force, but has good, firm detents in each position. The handle/knob is decently sized, and is easy to operate.I used the 4-position/8-contact unit, along with the small "Baomain" matching enclosure (sold separately, also on Amazon) as the selector switch for a remote, multi-port RF amplifier selector box. It operates remote relays that switch between 1 of 4 different radio amplifiers, using a 12-volts DC supply.Works very well.

Nice fan switch
I bought one for a furnace fan blower project, works great for a speed switch. Seems well made for the price. Easy to connect screw terminals.

Excellent
Excellent switch, works great. Allows me to switch 220V power between 3 different outlets for 3 different machine tools, plus one position for all units off. No instructions, so you have to take a DMM to the unit to understand how it operates - hence -1 point for that. But otherwise worth 5 stars.

I used to build a fan from my air conditioner air handler fan and motor. Worked great.

Great 4 position switch for the money
The instructions are a little confusing, but other reviewers had already figured it out and were able to point me in the right direction.Out of the box it has a jumper between 4 & 6, this effectively ties 2, 4, 6, & 8 together. I connected the "Hot" to just one of those terminals. Then connected the 4 speed wires coming from the motor to 1 (low), 3 (medium low), 5 (medium high), and 7 (high). Neutral goes to the white wire on my motor.The switch itself seems to be fairly robust. Switching between stops has a nice positive click and turns very smoothly and easily.

Seems Solid But Has Flaws!
So far seems to be of quality construction but just like many items made in China it has flaws. Seems the descriptions are always misleading and hardly reflect the actual operation of the product. You would naturally assume that each contact position of the switch is single pole, single throw considering 8 lugs on the switch being a 4 position switch, but it is not. After install I tested continuity with this belief in mind and was astounded continuity was running through all four legs on one side switch regardless of switch position. The only exception was in the off position. Meaning one hot wire feeds all four legs so 3 remaining wire positions of 8 total are useless. What was most frustrating is the diagram pictured on Amazon product page indicates each set of contacts are isolated from the others. Be careful and make sure you understand the mechanics of the switch before you put power to it. Additionally, installation is difficult because you must drill the 4 screw holes and rotary shaft hole precisely through your mounting surface, which is not easy because the screws and screw holes are so small. If not, the switch will bind because of the flex in the plastic. As far as longevity goes, the jury is out.

Good three way manual power transfer switch.
I use this for my campervan so I can manually toggle between my new inverter, shorepower and on-board generator to power my outlets as there was limited number of automatic transfer switches to handle three different power sources and they took up more space than my 2 source auto transfer switch. There was no real wiring diagram but the internet has some videos and pictures that show it. As for wiring there is just a load and nuetral and there is no ground on the switch, so the ground should go to the common bus which should be wired to the fuse box. As for placement, it is easy to mount but i would reccomend using a box to cover the wilre also surround the wire and maybe use some liquid electrical tape on the terminals. So far, there has no problems and I have used it for draws up to 30 amps.
