These are fantastic! I use them on our 4 year old who was getting lots of fluid in his ear and then getting ear infections. He loves to swim and these have not popped out in the water even with lots of cannon balls :) . I have found that I can get several uses out of one pair as long as I dry them off and put them back in the case. Great value and we will be buying these again. He has had no ear problems since we started using them!

I use the large (ages 10 to adult) <Magenta EAR BAND-IT® Physician Developed Swimming Head Band> with the APOTHECARY silicone plugs for showers & hair washing <Flents By Apothecary Products, Inc. Flents Seal-rite Soft Silicone Ear Plugs, 3-Count (Pack of 6)>. I can use the velcro attachment for closing (over my forehead, not behind my head), keeping the ear plugs secure, with the best water resistence I've ever had. Then, all my hair is free flowing & I can shampoo. Even though I am an adult, my ear canals are not anatomically correct and I have had a lot of problems. I don't like to use the swimmers ear drops (mostly alcohol to dry up water) because my ears end up getting dry & itchy. I recommend both products. They are easy to use, good quality and relatively inexpensive.

Bought some of these near the end of last year. I have twins who go to swim therapy due to their disability. I desperately needed mold-able type ear plugs, since their ears are so small and something of a firmer rubber or plastic would irritate them, especially with them already being over worried with things going in their ears due to them knowing they have permanent tubes inside their ears. My twins ears are very small so I only need about half of the mold for each of them. I split that half in two for each ear and when they are out of the water, it seems to stay in just fine and I make sure to mold it in real well with the opening of their ear. Their therapy lasts for about 30 minutes. Yet the pieces I twist and mold for their ears only seem to hold up for about 15 minutes. As soon as any water gets around the silicone plugs it seems to loosen them up. No matter how well I press it form and make sure enough has been placed in the ear and the rest sticking firmly to the outside, it doesn't seem to hold up as well for me. I give it 3 stars because I do love the feel of these. They seem great but when it comes to what I really need it for they dont seem to stay in. I am also not reusing pieces. Once the pieces have been used I toss them. Yet I have found another use for them as of today which reminded me of needed to put a review. One of my nose pads from my glasses came off, so I took one of the silicone plugs and molded it to the size of the other nose pad and it work perfect. So that helps me out.

I got these for a monster truck show I'm taking my kids to and I thought they were the kind you squeeze and put in their ear canal but these are the ones that you just mold over the opening. I tried it on myself to see what the noise reduction is (because I had a feeling that it wouldn't be as good as the ones you place in your ear canal) and it did reduce regular noise but LOUD noise of course was lessened but not significantly. These are probably great for swimming but as far as noise reduction.. It's not super significant. I also didn't like how uncomfortable it was for me to get it to mold to my ear and stay in place. All in all I'm sure they work great for other purposes but for mine.. I'm heading to the store and see if I can find something else made for kids for noise reduction.

I used these at a rock concert. Since I didn't wish to carry the entire case, I wrapped the two I was using in wax paper. These plugs reduced the music to a comfortable level and I was still able to carry on conversations with people I came with. Pros: Easy to use. Works well to reduce noise level. Still able to hear surrounding conversation. Cons: Bright color. I received pink. Somewhat sticky. Somewhat difficult to remove from case.

I have challenges with the foam type ear plugs and hesitantly bought these. To my surprise the were very easy to use gave me no ear pain, were comfortable inside the ear. Noise reduction is excellent. Moldability to the ear is easy making a snug fit and they stay in place all night!

My 7 year old son tried to use these for sound restriction while in music class. Unfortunately there were three issue we had with the ear plugs: 1) They were sticky and a bit challenging to mold into his ear properly, 2) On the way home from the first day of using them they melted in his backpack and formed one big glob...so we couldn't use any of the other pairs, 3) one earplug was left in his pocket so when I washed them it stained several items in the dryer. I'm now looking for a better option.

I live in india in a hot tropical city. My boy was born with a FULL I mean FULL head of hair that gets all sweaty and gunky. I have to WASH IT EVERY DAY OR HE GETS DREADS, cant get away with the old sponge his scalp thing. He got an external ear infection though I took a lot of precautions. This product is great so far; I ignored the instructions and split one earplug into two.... works well; no infections or water in ear for almost 2 months now

Too hard. Not as advertised. Amazon doesn't fulfill this product. Instead, they directed me to the manufacturer website which didn't respond to my request. Waste of money .. completely disappointed :(

En lo personal, los tapones son muy buenos pegan muy bien en el oído yo los utilizo para dormir y no escucho ruidos.

I used it the first time this morning for swimming because I hate water getting in my ears work great also cuts out lots of noise I'm going to try it when I'm sleeping as well
