Oncidium Sharry Baby - Chocolate Fragrance Very Popular, Easy to Grow and Bloom (NOT in-Bud/Bloom When Shipped)

This plant came so well packaged and completely undamaged when it arrived. In fact, it was so well packaged. It took me a while to free it from its enclosure. The plant is healthy and is growing quite well and will produce flowers any week now. It makes a great gift.

Plants arrived in good condition even given high temperatures. Well packaged and healthy. Roots look good. Newly planted so not expecting blooms for a while. They are small, but only seedlings so I didn't expect full grown plants. Size was as advertised.

Arrived in good condition. Mine are still another year away from blooming in my set up. Seem healthy and have grown quite a bit.

I bought this a year ago and purposely waited to see if it would live. I’m happy to say it’s doing great and has doubled in size with a lot of new growth and new roots. It hasn’t bloomed yet, but I didn’t expect that so soon. It may bloom in another year if it keeps doing well. There was a broken leaf on the big pseudo bulb when I got it, but that hasn’t seemed to affect it. It survived the shipping ok in spite of the broken leaf. Very happy with it.

Let me start by saying it was very well packed on the outside. The pot was securely packed with strips of newspaper and tape. The plant roots had mostly spagnum moss around them which was completely dry and a plug that seemed like floral arrangement material like very stiff and very dry. The roots were completely dry. The plant itself had one bulb and it was completely shriveled up. One new leaf has the clear sign of dehydration the accordion fan shape which you can clearly see in the picture I posted. I tried my best to pack it loosely in moss and gave it a long soak. I will contact the company about it and see what they would like to do about it. I do not know where it was shipped from but it took a while to get here. I am very sad that it arrived in such rough shape and to be honest I don't think I will buy anymore orchids through the mail. Seller refunded the full price of the orchid very promptly. I have revised my rating to reflect this.
