This is a super cute and comfy hat and is just as described. I read the negative reviews and was confused so decided to do a review of my own. It fits me perfectly-snug enough to not blow off but not tight. The measurements are in the description so maybe measure your noggin before purchasing. It’s also a nice foldable hat for traveling (and it comes that way) so yeah, it may have some wrinkles when you first receive it. It has a wire around the outside of the brim which makes it nice and easy to bend into many positions to keep the sun off your face, so It’s not a “floppy” hat. The colors are vibrant, the pattern pretty as pictured, it’s well stitched, and mine came with all the accessories (band, ribbon, chin strap). The only negative is that the brim on mine was about 6 inches instead of 6.7. This was not a deal breaker for me, though, since it still provides plenty of sun protection. For $12 this is a really cute and comfortable sun hat!

I love this hat! Better than what I expected. A lot of hats don’t fit my head but this one does. The colors are fun. It has wire in the brim so you can adjust it as needed. It will be perfect for my trip to the beach! Love that it is reversible and most importantly it will protect me from the sun.

Interesting is the first word that comes to mind. It will definitely keep the sun off my head, face, upper body and possibly a small child standing in front of me 😉 The crown is a bit tight but I'm thinking it will stretch out eventually. The included hat band needs to be introduced to an iron. The wire in the brim does make it challenging to shape, but once you find a shape, it will stay in place. It's a hat every grandma needs to own and it can be manipulated to show off your quirky personality 😃

I ordered 2 if these (one for myself, one for my daughter), for an upcoming trip. While I was waiting for delivery, I read some of the reviews... several mentioned the crown was small - either too tight, too shallow, or both. I have waist-length hair that I wear in a bun (see photo), so I was a little nervous. The hats arrived (two days early). We took them out of the envelope and unfolded them, then fiddled around with how we wa ted to wear. (Both of us opted for flowers on the inside, solid color out.). I put mine on my head (bun & all), and it fit comfortably & securely. Then, I attached the chin-strap. At some point, I may replace the stiff plastic clips with metal, but it works fine for now! We both really love & are excited about these hats. Nice, wide brim, comfy, and COLORFUL. That said, we have some very minor suggestions: * The decorative bands: neither really "works" if you wear it print-side out. If a swatch of the solid-fabric were included for a band (as they did with the print), it would make it truly reversible * The lace band: as others gave noted, it easily falls off the (very un-structured) crown. I'm tacking it down with 4 tiny stitches (along the seams). * The chinstrap bead: mine slid right off, while we were still messing with things. If this happens to you, you can use a hairpin (or other such object) to poke it back through. Be aware this can happen *very* easily, and consider tying a knot to prevent it. (Actually, before our trip, I may pull one end out of the adjustor-bead, string a decorative bead to act as a "stopper", and feed the end back through the adjustor. I think this will be both prettier, and give better functionality.)

It’s a colorful hat, provides coverage. I don’t think it’s sturdy to handle the breeze. It wasn’t what I was hoping for.

I love this hat. I’ve been wearing it for a solid year now. It’s huge and slightly chaotic, but I wanted something that would cover my shoulders because I’m very fair skinned and I burn really easy and every time I use sunscreen it seems like that it wears off and I get burned anyway. I recently went to the Bahamas and took it with me and I got so many compliments and it packed flat. It’s lightweight and not very hot and super flexible so it packed really easy to go on the airline. And it’s wide enough that I don’t get burned shoulders and I certainly don’t get a burned face anymore. And I don’t feel hot wearing it. I wear it into the water and it gets wet and it dries really easy and doesn’t do that obnoxious absorbing the water and dripping all over you and staying wet forever thing. Also, it was slightly breezy in the Bahamas and it flew off a couple of times, but the chinstrap kept it from going anywhere so I just popped off and got caught by the string. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who doesn’t want sunburn.

I’m someone who rarely does reviews, but I had to take the time to rave about this hat.I bought it for vacation and could not have been happier with it. I love that you’re able to fold it up nice and compact to make it convenient for travel and due to the wire embedded in the rim you’re able to reshape it however you want. This gives you both convenience without compromise. I love that it’s reversible and I found the fit to be great for my head which I would say is on the larger side as not all hats fit me that well. I think the quality is a steal for this price. I would definitely recommend it and would consider purchasing it again if I needed it or wanted a different color.

I don’t think you want this hat. I think it’s one of those times when a good idea just didn’t turn out well.

Nice design but the brim isn't so big like it seems. You can fold it to put it in a bag which is handy but when you unfold the hat, you can't get the rim straight.

Great hat. Large brim that’s bendable to what shape you want. Shades neck and shoulders.

I got this hat to protect from the sun (which it does amazingly) but I didn't expect the secondary effect! People on the street, doctors at the doctors office, cashiers, everyone I meet with this hat has something good to say about it. Apparently this hat makes you very cute! The foldability is also amazing, I managed to squeeze it into a stuffed mini backpack and pull it back out again and it's no worse for wear. The straps keep it on your head perfectly on windy days. Great hat overall.

Nice hat. Very pretty. Unfortunately it is not very good in hot weather. Maybe it doesn’t breathe or something? But it’s very pretty. Maybe it would be good for weather around 20 degrees Celsius. It is a little better in the heat when the blue side is down and the pattern side is up for some reason.

This is a surprisingly fabulous fun hat super comfy very protective of the sun and so much fun love it I’ve just ordered a turquoise one
