The item came on time and it was in good condition. It comes in two parts and you have to just fit it together and it is ready to go. There is a piece of paper with instructions on how to use it as well as how to clean and care for it. It has only been two weeks in my new place and it has clogged twice now. First time, I called in help, but when it happened again just a week later, I realised, having never had a clogged toilet before, something was wrong with the system and this is bound to become a more or less regular occurrence from time to time and I need a plunger. I cannot keep calling for help every time after all! My toilet is a square bowl so I knew the circular regular plunger won't work because it won't fit properly. Someone else who had used this particular plunger I bought on a square toilet bowl and so, I decided to trust the reviews on the product and invest in it. I had tried baking soda and vinegar before and even dish soap and warm water. None of them worked for me. By the time I had to use the plunger this second time the clogging happened, my various home remedies had caused the toilet water to rise just below the rim. The handle on this plunger is long so I could put it in and not have to touch the very high water level. Since it uses air and water to put pressure on the clog, it does not have to fit at the bottom. So, I just put it in and slowly pushed up and down gently (because doing vigorously caused the very high water level to splash out and onto you!) for about 5-6 secs and at first, I thought it was a fail and suddenly, there was this loud sound and the water started going down!! Instructions say you need to push up and down for about 40 secs, but it did not take that long for me. If you have a square toilet bowl or even if you have tried other plungers and they have not worked, I highly recommend this. It was a lifesaver for me because the clog happened on a weekend! I did worry it was a bit too much to spend on a plunger, but considering this clogging is bound to happen regularly, I have a feeling it was worth the investment. Anything to not have to worry about a clogged toilet and no way to unclog it without help!

The Outstander toilet plunger works extremely well. It has unblocked quickly and easily 2 WCs, so paid for itself already. Of course it cannot unblock a toilet that has has objects that shouldn't be flushed or where the blockage is in the outside sewerage system.The included instructions on how to use and how to clean afterwards are clear and helpful. Remember its not a plunger but a bellows, it does not make a seal like a plunger. It works with a pumping motion (no pun intended). The water from the pan is drawn up into the bellows and then out again. As it is very effective I would advise initially not plunging it too firmly to start with especially if the pan is full or you will get the contents everywhere!

Purchased to hopefully fix a blocked toilet. Unfortunately the blockage has not fully resolved but this is a great design and is easy to use. Very sturdy although a bit bulky for storage. It would work well on a less serious blockage than I clearly have !

I never leave reviews, but felt compelled to with this as it worked an absolute treat! My daughters have a habit of putting way too much toilet roll down the loo and the drain had got backed up again with the bowl filling to the top on flushing. Usually I can clear it with a bucket of water poured at force but it wasn't working this time, so this was my last attempt at a self remedy before succumbing to using our British Gas drains cover. Used the item for around 20 seconds as recommended and then tried flushing to see what happened, and it all cleared fine. Really impressed and delighted to have saved money on a call-out charge. Thank you!

Worked like a treat! So so to easy put together.The effort you have to put behind the plunge was minimal, so would be easy for many people. 5 days trying everything, took 5 mins after this plunger arrived.

Far from ideal. Despite my following instructions to the letter (several times) this products made no discernible difference to the blockage.

Our lavatory wasn’t flushing very well so thought I would try this in case there was a blockage. Didn’t seem to make great deal of difference but then again that might not have been the problem. Product seems quite flimsy so not sure how robust it will be.

Fab item,I have a modern toilet than is smaller than older toilets and it always stunk and was hard to flush away solids,sorted it out with this plunger.I also live on the ground floor in a block of flats and the waste pipe to the sewer is shared by the flats above me.
