I can't give negitive stars, so one will have to do.
What most everyone else has said. The description made me think this might have been a 'making of' book, something that codifies Steven's universe up to now, some secrets, maybe Ms. Sugar sharing her thoughts, an encyclopedia or some such, even if geared to a young child. Something like an expanded version of a previous book "Guide to the Crystal Gems"No, it's just...lazy. I showed it to my 7 year old nephew and his exact quote : "That's dumb. They're not even good pictures"I know as an adult I'm not the prime marketing target for this show, and I want to encourage the development of merchandising of this wonderful, engaging and shockingly thoughtful and pleasant cartoon. This is NOT the direction that should be encouraged. I have returned my copy and honestly, I would encourage others to do the same. Don't just suck it up, Return your copy! My fear is the gray men in their gray offices that make the decisions will get the incorrect takeaway. We want GOOD books, books that engage both adults and children JUST LIKE THE SHOW DOES.If I had seen this in a store, had a chance to look at the pages, I would not have bought it. I have no regrets returning it.OK, I will say this to try and be positive. It's a book with pages. That function is fulfilled well.

It'll keep you amused until the next Steven Bomb towatch. Love it
Although it may seem repetitive to adult readers, it's really cute and light hearted. It'll keep you amused until the next Steven Bomb to watch. Love it!

Its an OK book, but probably not what you're looking for.
This book is cute, pretty much just entirely silly 'meme' style quotes and blurbs for the show. It doesn't provide that much beyond a few minutes of amusement, doesn't have anything a fan wouldn't already know. It's also very much meant for very young kids, rather than adults/teens (which I suspect most people reviewing it right now are). While I don't care too much for it, my little sister was very excited and thinks its cute. A little kid will probably love it, especially if they're not big readers since its not as wordy as the Guide to the Crystal Gems, but they won't get too much out of it (compared to the two activity books, Quest for Gem Magic and Live From Beach City!, that are already out)The main problem, I think, is that the product was described very poorly. Its described as a trivia book, which it isn't really and the book itself isn't at all written with the idea you'd be looking up trivia or facts in it. The description is also baffling because the book doesn't answer any of the questions it poses, and its a problem since I'd wager a number of people bought the book because it promised to explain where Lion came from when that's never addressed in the book at all (the book never even explains "how many Cookie Cats Steven can eat", so the description isn't at all reflective of the book itself). It's just a silly book that should've been described as a 'humor' book or something like that. Being described as a fact and trivia book, that will give the answers to questions fans have, is extremely misleading and as a result people feel tricked, since this was not the product that the description said it was. It would probably be a good idea to amend the description to prevent further problems.Anyway, the book isn't that bad for what it is, which is just a silly time-waster meant for kids, and the backlash its getting could've been avoided if the description didn't make it out to be something its not (and if they'd had preview pages, since all it takes is one look at any of the pages to see what kind of book it is). Adults and teens are going to get nothing out of this book so unless you're a collector you should probably give this book a pass. Young kids will probably like it, though. Might be a good idea to have them flip through it in the store to see if its something they'd like first.

Cute Book
It's a very cute book, but most of the facts mentioned are either very obvious or something you could have easily picked up by watching the show. I do appreciate all the cute pictures and the book itself is very thick and durable. Just kinda wish there was more information about things that haven't already been discussed in the show. Otherwise, it's pretty cool!

*Insert mildly disappointed Garnet face here*
This was a disappointment! It's basically just screen grabs from the show (but only up until "Jail Break") and the "300 facts!" advertised don't really exist-- it's mostly just cute little sayings or summarized moments from the show. There's no new art or information. Some of the pages don't even relate to the show really (why do we need an explanation of percolation?). It is cute; it feels more like a poster book, although the art quality isn't very good. Overall, it was very misleading. My brother and I are both fans of the show (although he is a much bigger fan than me, and knows pretty much everything), and I got this for him particularly because it promised new information on where Lion comes from, and even more basic, unimportant facts like "How many cookie cats can Steven eat?". We already know the Centipeetle Mother is scary! The book just repeats a lot of fan questions/queries ("Steven's powers are uncharted territory!"... isn't that the point of the show?). There weren't any questions that weren't answered in whatever episode they grabbed the art from. It's kind of cute to have just "Lion" around (heh), but it was purposefully misleading to fans and definitely isn't what we are looking for.
