This is a really nice vest. It is exactly what we were looking for. Really nice material and quality. But we are going to have to return it. It runs a little big. I'm ok with a little loose but the Large size was LARGE. So we are going to reorder the Medium. Even though the Medium is not a prime order it still has free shipping:)

I know redcap is industrial uniform clothing but this vest is not that. It’s very good quality. The fabric is flexible but not tight. It repelled water and more importantly coffee. I have to wear a white shirt to work and this keeps me clean, comfortable, and just warm enough. I get hot easy (I’m fat) and this isn’t a sweat box. Perfect for the cool mornings and not too hot when sitting in an office clacking away on some HR persons idea of “information”. I’ve got a question. Why do I need to put my contact info on every form then staple them together and submit them? You know who I am already. You actually pay me to work here!!! Anyway, yeah this vest is good.

This is a great lightweight vest. I’m 6’1”, 220lbs with 46” chest and the large fit me best with just a button down shirt underneath. I tried the XL but it was a little big, however if you plan to wear this over a heavy sweater or hoodie you might want the XL. The tail is long in the back and has zippered pockets. It’s not inexpensive but for the quality you get it’s a fair price.

At 5-8, 165, I ordered a size down as recommended by reviewers and the medium was too long and had too much room in the chest. I sent it back and got a small. Fits perfect. Can wear a t-shirt, heavy flannel shirt and still have some chest room. Bottom of the vest falls about an inch and a half below the waist of my pants/beltline. Really looks sharp and professional for business casual. Ill be getting a company logo put on it soon. My only issue is the chest zipper. Someone else mentioned the zipper failing and I can tell this might be a weak point of the vest. In my experience, it looks like the type of zipper that splits and opens up if you pull the material from the sides. Probably not something you would wear for field work or heavy use zipping/unzipping, should have went with a heavier weight zip with bigger teeth, especially since the vest material itself is a pretty thick softshell with a nappy polyester interior. Feels like I'm zipping up the back of a dress for someone. Lol.Update: So after a year, the mesh of the inner pocket has torn open right in the center for an unknown reason and the left collar has always been awkwardly bent upward and will not lay flat, even after washing and laying flat to dry. Weird.
