It broke after 2nd use

Cheapest piece of junk ever made, used it the first time and the thumb switch bent, and the metal piece inside broke off. This is a scam product, and the ice cream wasn't that hard. This product is a joke and I wouldn't tell anyone to buy. That company should be thrown out of amazon marketing advertisements. You are throwing your money away, with an inferior product like this ice cream scoop. These people should be put in jail for fraud.Fleeced in San Antonio

The inside metal snapped off the first time I tried it and flew straight for my right eye. Fortunately wearing glasses so it didn't damage my eye. Beware.They did refund the money.

I have never owned this type of an ice-cream scoop before, and I was excited to get it. I always see it being used in cooking shows for everything - ice-cream, cooking, sometimes portioning salads even. And finally I got it! I think it works very well! The brand is a no-name brand here, but the quality of the scoop is as good as any to me. Of course, this will have to be tested by continuous use, but so far we have used it for a couple of days, and it works just fine. What I found about this scoop was that it arrived to me a little dirty with some black marks from the factory where they have installed the spherical moving part. I had to scrub it well to remove all the gunk there. I am usually not used to seeing a product sold dirty like that, and while most product come with clear instructions to wash them in warm water before use, and that is a given, still, I am not used to seeing products that need to be literally scrubbed clean before using them. I have also managed to punch my hand with the mechanism as my skin got stuck as I was using the scoop, so this design may not be suitable for kids or awkward people like myself. Keeping that in mind, I think this scoop is great, and I am looking forward to making great dishes and perfect ice-cream scoops with it!Sample was provided discounted for testing and a review.Update - I am downgrading my review today from 4 stars to 1 because the scoop broke. We used it for a couple of months on and off, not really daily.

Seller is super quick to get product delivered to you, also was packaged well..this Wbseos ice cream scoop is nice , its made out of stainless steel and is safe to go into the dishwasher,I also use it to make perfect and even size cookies and muffins. I recieved a discount in exchange for my honest opinion

Finally, I can serve ice cream without having to use two spoons. Every time I had to serve ice cream it would stick to the spoon and I would need to use my fingers or another spoon to serve. Also the serving size is the same every time, one or two scoops. The non-stick handle has a strong grip so it will not slide and is dishwasher friendly, the thumb lever is a little hard but may soften the more you use it.Addendum#1: Unfortunately after a couple of weeks of using the Ice cream Scoop, the thumb handle bent and it is not usable anymore, I can still scoop the ice cream but have to use the metal above the plastic thumb, it is not designed properly and will bend after many use.
