We use this on our own ice cream which sometimes gets rock hard. This scoop works really well for that hard ice cream. the scoop itself is very shiny, which means it is smooth. The smoothness makes it very easy to clean. It also doesnt have issues with stuff sticking to it. The scoop itself is a sturdy metal that doesnt want to bend, but also has enough mass to hold a little heat if we need to run it under hot water. If you have an ice cream lover, then this would make a high value gift. This is not a giant scoop that keeps your drawer from closing, but it is also not a teaspoon sized scoop, it is just right.

Super attractive kitchen gadget with its cute colored handle and sparkling stainless steel that works like a dream without having to use hot water and without any weird chemicals inside. It scoops even very hard ice cream easily and the ice cream just slides right out of it. It's heavier than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. It's very well-made and I'm sure I'd choose to replace it for aesthetic reasons before ever needing to replace it for any other possible reason. In my opinion, it's the perfect ice cream scoop and a brilliant value for a surprisingly reasonable cost. I've used similarly designed brand-name aluminum scoops that contain some sort of antifreeze that cost more than double the price and this scoop makes me feel safer AND works better.

I really love this ice cream scoop! It is ergonomic, the handle is something that feels like silicone and is easy to hold, the scoop is a perfect size and works beautifully. I bought this to replace an ice cream scoop that I purchased at the grocery store, very low quality, one day the scoop just separated from the handle. This is much better in every aspect. I do not wash it in the dishwasher, wallet might be fine to do so, I am not taking any chances. It’s really easy just to quickly hand wash. I don’t know about heat retention, but I think if you ran this under warmer hot water before scooping really hard ice cream that would help. I personally microwave the ice cream for 15 seconds if it’s rock hard or just leave it out for about 10 minutes. I suspect that the metal would retain some heat from hot water and would likely scoop hard ice cream like butter, but I haven’t tried it. Definitely doesn’t add any weird taste to my ice cream. That’s one of the prompts for the review. I’m not sure why. In summary it’s easy to use and easy to hold, even in my hands which are slightly arthritic and have some carpal tunnel damage.

This makes even hard-frozen ice cream easy to scoop. The ice cream doesn't stick to the scoop. It's built to last forever. It's big, but it fits in the dishwasher all right. I wish I'd bought this a long time ago.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this ice cream scoop was exceptionally awesome. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an awesome ice cream scoop. Typically they’re really annoying or don’t really work or you have to wait till the ice cream is very soft to even be able to scoop anything. This one is weighted in such a perfect way and it scoops the ice cream out perfectly. It fits nicely in your hand and it’s an awesome shape. It just works great. I can’t recommend it enough in fact I’m actually buying a second one.

What I like most is that it does a very good job digging into firm ice cream without feeling flimsy or like it’s going to bend. The scoop shape is also helpful for getting into the corners of the container, which makes it more practical than a lot of basic scoops. The one downside I noticed is that the scoops do not always release cleanly on their own, so sometimes they need a little extra push. That is not a dealbreaker for me, but it is worth knowing. Overall, this feels like a well-made, heavy-duty scoop that is comfortable to use and especially good when you need something strong enough to handle harder frozen desserts.

Nice ice cream scooper! I love the color. Easy to manage hard frozen ice cream. Made of material that provides a sturdy grip. Would purchase again if needed, but I believe it’s going to last a really long time, it appears to be nicely made! Package shipped quickly and price was reasonable!

These are the best ice cream scoops. They scoop so easily. They are comfortable to hold and cut right through the ice cream. Just don't make the mistake I did by putting it in the dishwasher one time. It pitted the scoop head, so I am back to buy a new one. I will only be hand washing this one. Great product and great price!

Best scooper I have every owned. It is heavy, well built and it makes scooping ice cream a breeze. Would highly recommend. The only down side is that I'm eating more ice cream than usual!

I’ve been using this scoop regularly, and it works exceptionally well on ice cream straight from the freezer. The heavy-duty metal cuts through hard ice cream smoothly, and the handle feels comfortable and secure even during firm scooping. It forms clean, round scoops and reaches container corners easily, and cleanup is simple since it’s dishwasher-safe. The scoop is on the heavier side, but the build quality and performance make it worth it.

I wish I could tell you why this was the best ice cream scoop ever. Perhaps it’s the nice weight or beautiful colour. Maybe it’s the nice metal and not cheap aluminum. I don’t know. But it really is lovely. I just realized there is a hook on handle for opened ice cream lids. This scoop just keeps getting better. Also have put it in dishwasher almost daily for 2months and so far has held up.

Took weeks to arrive to me in Canada but looks great and works well. Price is a little steep. 4/5
