Does the job
It’s not the most elegant solution but it does the job. Adjusting lights requires you to loosen and tighten knobs and some kind of clamp or gear arrangement would have been better. The camera fixes and removes easily and moves on a geared track. It does the job and it’s inexpensive.

Has both 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch "tripod" camera mounting screws
I had a momentary panic because the quick release "tripod" mounting head appeared to come with an oversized (3/8-inch? "Professional Medium Format"?) mounting screw -- compared to the 1/4-inch "1/4-20" mounting screw hole on my 35mm camera. But on close inspection that appeared to be a screw-on adapter, and indeed a gentle turn with pliers on the "3/8th-inch?" adapter loosened it to where it could be removed with fingers, revealing a "standard" ["Consumer"] 1/4 inch "tripod" mounting screw inside that adapter, which screws "as normal" into the tripod mounting head of my 35mm camera. Whether or not you have a camera attached, hold onto the camera and/or the *heavy* quick release mounting plate while you operate the quick release lever -- which in turn is locked by a locking pin -- lest one or both come crashing down precipitously onto the document base!

It's not bad. You'll notice the lift mechanism leans forward over the platform. It makes it very difficult to photograph large items as most of the camera's view is of the table you have this sitting on. I know different lenses will change the view. I was using a 60mm macro lens. The rack & pinion is average quality at best. It's not that stable and I had trouble keeping the adjustment wheel gear engaged with the rack. It's OK for small items but if I had it to do over again, I'd save my pennies a little longer and get a better quality copy stand

Works well - I used it for the included pic
The unit is nice looking and works well except the camera mounting screw is too large of a diameter for my Nikon camera. I thought these mounting screws were standardized. I do not recall an option for smaller camera mounting screws. After searching for an adapter I saw how they were made and took another look at the mounting screw (bolt). There is an over screw adapter with the 1/4-20 standard screw underneath. Once I removed that my camera fit fine! I'm a happy man! Perhaps a mention of that in the instructions would be nice. Other than that - I love it. :-)

Great lights and easy setup
went together quickly and has already produced some great results. Cant tell you how many lamps, bulbs I tried out before getting this. I wont have to buy bulbs for my house ever again. Thankfully I can use all those bulbs in the house. Just a few hours in and my bryophytes and Lichen shots are super. See photo. This is with a standard 18-55 canon lense.

Excellent for the Price
Nice for a budget set up and heavier duty stands are a lot more money. My only disappointment is the lamps are a bit too blue (I expected closer to sunlight).

This is a great product, but it arrived with one of the lights broken. I'm currently trying to get the seller to replace it, and I have no idea whether they'll do it or when.
