Good to make sure pocket doors are secure
Good value and easy to use for a temporary situation. Had to secure 2 pocket doors in a house that has settled a bit so these doors don't have a tight close. Nosey cats and 2 pups were nosing and clawing open doors into a zoned off area where we had a stray mama cat safe in quarantine with babies. Kept my little nosey kids out of Mama's safe place. Took a bit to make sure how to use to insure sticky backs stayed in place, pull a bit too hard and off it comes. Did not damage wall or door sticky parts were on. Has kept animals out of space we didn't want them in.

Lifesaver for owner of dubbed MEGA CAT
I have a seven pound cat that pretty much owns my apartment. I absolutely cannot have any door closed in this house or his world will end. That includes the bedroom door. Now, I have a curtain hung over the door to prevent excess light coming in but it didn’t slow him down from barreling through that curtain and pushing the door and curtain all the way open, waking me up. I tried making do with adding things behind the door but they get in the way. I tried adding weight to the door so it would be too heavy for him to open: I MADE A STRONGER OMEGA CAT. I was left searching for solutions when I came across this. It was super easy to install and MEGA CAT barreling through the curtains at 1pm cannot even budge this handy strap. It’s just open enough so he has to use his pea brain to actually find the opening and make it through. Finally, an answer to my calling. No more getting out of bed three or four times to close the door and block out the light that MEGA CAT let in. I have included a photo of this Dubbed MEGA CAT, despite his cuteness he is STRONG at my hands.

These did nothing
The purpose of buying these were to close the bins I bought to put in my cat room. The bins were plastic and opened from a drawer, and my cats would open them. The adhesive did not stick to the plastic, and I had to tape around the perimeter with duct tape so it would stay. All in all, a cheap product that isn't worth buying :(

Ripped the paint off my wall
It is a great concept, but doesn't stand up to puppy-pressure. After a few days on the wall, my 15 week puppy finally tried forcing the door open with his paws and the adhesive came off the wall with a few chips of paint with it. I'm not sure if there was a curing time for the adhesive as the instructions were limited but I did wait 48 hours before setting the lock to give it time to dry. I just think by design it can't hold up to force. Disappointed as this is a good idea in theory, and less intrusive than a gate.

Sturdy straps but weak adhesion
The door strap eventually worked, but I had issues with adhesion. I prepared the area as directed and followed all instructions, but the strap could only take a very moderate amount of pressure before the anchor popped off. It would be able to keep a small child out of a room but I need to keep a 60 pound dog who lunges to the door at full tilt. I ended up using gorilla glue and gorilla taoe to secure it and it has worked well since.

Keeps crazy cat out!
This item is much appreciated! I have a crazy cat who loves to get into my room. I bought this and it works well. He runs at full speed and pounces at my door but he can not enter!
