RIPPED OFF BUYER BEWARE
My tools are very important to me.I have carried a stream light since 2016 and love it, not just for the light but for having a backup tool for defense when needed. When i saw they updated the Lumen's I was excited. After several attempts of purchasing one from a reputable store like LA POLICE GEAR and receiving a "sold out" response I broke down and bought one from Amazon.Big mistake to buy life saving equipment from Amazon!!I read other reviews of this company sending used lights and blew it off. Well I'm here to tell you it happened to me.The light is beautiful with an updated design and grip. The texturing on the handle makes it non slipping which again is important for having a life saving tool on your belt.I was not impressed with the light output but as other reviewers stated they bought better batteries off site of Amazon. I bought 3700 MAH 8AMPS from battery junction. The light is very sturdy and well made it feels and looks like my Glock very nice. Here's the major problem! It's the seller. I read other reviews that have stated the same, I am not sure what they are doing; if they are buying used lights and refurbishing them or out right buying refurbished lights selling them as brand new lights. What ever they are doing it is unethical selling a light as a brand new unit then receiving a previously opened box, the light not having any plastic wrapping on it. Finger prints on the glass, bezel, body.2 scrape marks on the body from being used.As I said the light it self is amazing the company is definitely deceptively Deceitful!!Buy somewhere else!!

Great light but ripped off by Amazon!!
The light still works great but watch it. Not sure how long mine was used before it was returned but there are very clear signs it was used and returned and then shipped to me. If you don’t mind paying new prices for used products you’ll love this thing.

My favorite flashlight ever
I've been using a flashlight often for 30 years, and I've owned a lot in my search for the best one for my particular needs. I need a powerful light because I'm often out in difficult terrain and I need to see long distances around me. Long battery life is greatly appreciated too, so I don't need to recharge every day. I like a fairly compact light too. Being able to choose between the three well-chosen powers is a great feature. Submersible to 1 meter, drop tested to 2 meters, both needed because getting wet or falling down is always possible. The unusual feel in my hand took a little getting used to, but it's a logical and comfortable way to grip a flashlight. All in all, I'm extremely impressed with this flashlight. I've never used one that gives me everything I want with no compromises. Highly recommended!

It worked for 6 weeks, now nothing
As a mechanic needing to replace my trusty 5 year old Stinger light, I purchased the latest 2020 model. Should have paid attention to to why it's called 2020, because it just isn't the same as a regular Stinger.* the brightness switch is a plus, but it is recessed and stiff enough that I have to use a thumbnail to flip it* when using the slightest bump will cause the light to cut off for a split second, because the battery pack looses contact.* The flat edge to keep light from rolling is only slightly better than a round flashlight. you have to purposely lay it on the one flat edge the side without the battery clip. The flat edge is not enough to keep it from rolling off a slanted surface. It is heavier than the regular StingerI am just out of my Amazon return window so now I have to contact Streamlight to cover the warranty. My backup Olight is still working 100%

Disappointed by "updated" Stinger
I've been using Stinger flashlights for work since 2006. I have bought (and lost) probably 15 in that time frame. The new design intrigued me, and an update is usually a good thing. Sadly, this is an "update" looking for a reason to be "updated", the Stinger LED HL is a better light every day of the week.I have dropped my old Stingers hundreds, if not thousands, of times. They take it and keep going. The 2020 version does not. Every time you bump the light it flickers off. A good drop from 6' to concrete and the back end bent, the door that opens to remove the batteries. Worked that way (with the door taped shut) for a few months. This last drop was the end, won't turn on, charger flashes red and won't charge, battery door won't open (cause it isn't a nice strong circle like before)... She's dead.Off to warranty for a relatively new light. The old LED HL will come back to the shop and the 2020 will go home for light duty. Also to note, the metal clip at the end will scratch seats and paint badly, it is the catch for the battery door and can't be removed. Another reason the end of my light was wrapped in electrical tape.

Great flashlight, batteries not so much
I really like the design and brightness of this flashlight, but 6 months in and the batteries are already extremely weakened. The brightest setting does not last very long, and once the batteries drain to a certain level that level of brightness cannot even be used. And now, when I plug them in to charge them, one of the batteries immediately shows the solid green light, meaning it's not even charging anymore. The batteries alone cost $30 each to replace and of course are not covered under the warranty.

Official Product Review
I was on the Stream Light field product testing. My official review is that the light lasts long, the brightness selector switch is great I would like it to need to be pushed in to change the brightness. The button is hard to find while wearing gloves. But it is easy to use the end button. All these suggestions have been supplied to the company.
