Doing it’s Job
I used just one of this carabiner set so far. It’s on a gate just to prevent intruders (like the folks who clean the gutters) from trying to open the gates that require removal of the electric fence wires. It does fit into the hole to prevent movement of the latch. Its overall size is a bit large for this job and made maneuvering the carabiner into place a challenge. It was tightened easily to prevent the casual opening of the clip. Still, it doesn’t feel as well made as others I have. For me, this product is overkill for wrangling keys.In my yard these are used to keep critters from entering the aviary, coop, etc. The ability to keep the clip closed is just an added step a raccoon is unlikely to master. I am expecting these will serve well in that capacity.These were shipped in a small clear plastic case that will make them easy to find when needed.

Just ok
I thought we could use these for my dogs leash but when they get wet or in the snow they become really hard to turn. It also takes a long time to twist it locked. Sometimes we thought it was locked and it wasn’t. It came off.
