My expectations for these were very low—and I haven't yet gone through a full charge cycle requiring battery replacement, so I can't speak to longevity—but regarding light level, color, and soft flicker, I can attest that they're true to what's advertised. They're not attractive when not illuminated, but they fit into any standard votive candle holder, if you want to hide the plastic shell. That said, they're small enough to be unobtrusive when not lit, so I don't mind them sitting on a bookshelf. The peace of mind of not using votives (i.e., the scented IKEA type) is what makes them worth the purchase for me. When I want to quiet the room and have the light level down and dispersed, I can fill the room with these and not worry about what's above or near them, or accidentally dislodging one and ending up with a wax burn or something far worse. Honestly, they're also easier on the lungs than having multiple candles burning, whether scented or not. I'm not proud of using another plastic product, but I am relieved that in an emergency—storm or other power loss situation—these would travel well and be long-lasting.

Looks just like a real candle. Lasted hours. Had the "warmth" of a real candle and not the over bright lighting of a bulb.

Perfect for setting a romantic date without burning the house down. The color is warm and only an off and on option, but it does have a candle like flicker to them. They are perfect as night lights and calming. There's no timer and the functionality overall deserves the 5 stars especially for the price.

These lights last for a very long time which is quite impressive. The color is very soft, but bright enough to light up a decent sized room at night. The light does flicker, similar to an actually flame. This is my second box.

These came packaged very nicely. They are small but we used them to put inside wooden pumpkins at Halloween so they were a perfect size. Work very well for a long time and I would buy them again. Quality is great for the price.

Love to throw a few in my suitcase when I travel - great nightlights for hotel bathrooms. Love that batteries can be replaced.
