Can it be used on earthen walls as a sealer?

No this products is not to be used as a sealer.

How long does it last (a year or two maybe)?

It depends on how it is stored, if the sides are scraped down and a layer of water is added on top, then the container is sealed tightly, it will last for years. The amount of water would depend on how long you intend to leave it but be generous, you can always pour off whatever excess does not get absorbed.

I’m painting a canvas for a photography backdrop. I’d like to use this lime wash on top of acrylic paint used as a “primer”, is that possible?

Hello, Yes. You can use our Lime Paint on top of an acrylic base. We recommend to start with a 10% proportion of water to material. If you want more of a lime wash effect you can bump it up to a 25% dilution. We would not recommend a 50/50 ratio. Best of luck.
