When I ordered this item, I thought the size related to the overall length. That is not the case. The overall length is about 1-1/4 inches longer than the size listed on the item. Be careful when ordering to be sure you get the right one. The return process for the incorrect item was fairly painless.

Was delivered quickly and fit perfectly

These cartridges are a bit delicate. Anyone who doesn't realize that they are only 1/4 turn may wind up breaking the internal ceramic parts by over tightening these. This is especially true since water naturally drains from the tube after you turn the knob off and sometimes people think it is still turned on.Also, if they freeze because the hose spigot/hose bib/wall hydrant/outside faucet is not pitched down correctly they will need to be replaced after every winter. Installation of any hose spigot is critical.Another thing to note is that the handle screws tend to come loose so when putting the handle back on make sure that it is tightened hard with a nice new sharp Philips head screwdriver and not a worn one.

I originally had the Legend bib installed because they touted its all weather performance. Unfortunately the stem failed after 6 years with a split right down the center. I was dreading a full bib replacement, but was so happy to find this valve stem replacement. Turned the water off and and installed the replacement within 5 minutes. Shipping was super fast too - was quoted a week + and I think it arrived in 2 days.

It works...with one caveat.We apparently have a hose bib connection that's out of plumb.Device must be replaced each year as water sits in the pipe, damaging the plastic valve when it freezes.We must re-install properly for this to work.This info direct from their customer service department.

excellent, Repaired our outside garden faucet. I would have liked a speedier delivery of the product.
