It's all you could reasonably ask for in a good machete. Solid build, sturdy, decent handle. It does need to be sharpened regularly, but there's nothing new about that. The sheath. . . . not so much. I recommend buying an appropriate leather sheath separately. The nylon one that it comes with doesn't fit quite right and doesn't last long.

I bought it for chopping up small branches in the compost pile which it did work for but the handle is a little too thin and smooth for a good grip. Regretfully I later saw a Fiskars machete that looked like it would work better for a cheaper price. This one will do though.

Broke mine in an hour and I was only cutting down soft stalked mexican sunflower plants. Broke in half at the handle, steel made weak !!!!! Cheep !!!!!

The media could not be loaded. Blade broke, it looks like its make of cup cakes. I worked in a junk yard a year cutting up metals with a stihl circular saw. It takes a while to cut stainless steel or heavier metal alloys. This is however caught on film while I was walking my puppies on a nature hike. The tree was a dense ceder it had broke on. This is not a misinterpretation of the blade in the description but a false representation of what it is made of.

Great machete and great price. Used it a few times and it does its job. Had to sharpen but thats expected. Would definitely buy again if I had to.

Everyone who sees it says that its amazing looking. Until you try to use it. Factory edge sucked. So i sharpened it. Handle is comfortable until you use it. Its hurts when you stike a tree or large shrub. But it still looks cool in the collection.

I wouldn't use it hunting during war as a first choice. But if I hasmd to , ten yeah. I do know that it can chop and saw stuff. Nice build too.

I loved it until I used it. I was cutting some limbs off of dead trees in my yard and the handle snapped off. It didn't last more than a few strikes. I really hope it would've lasted longer or atleast wish I would've known before hand. I would've kept it as a decoration. It's a really good looking machete. Just not very strong.
