Sunsong 3401209 Power Steering Pressure Line Hose Assembly

Part was an exact for my 2003 honda crv. The only problem was that it came with no replacement O ring for the pressure switch that you have to remove from the old one & install on the new line! They should supply an O ring for this high pressure line.

Bought a used 2003 CR-V that had a leaking power steering hose. Replaced the leaking hose with this one and it was a perfect fit. I think it might actually be a better quality hose than the OEM one. Would highly recommend.

It did fit but not with modification. The rubber bushing that goes on the inside of one of the retainers is very firmly attached to the tubing part of hose. This wouldn't be a problem if it was in the right place on the pipe but it wasn't. It was a few inches off. I had to break it off and cut the rest off with a razor blade. Luckily I was able to cut a slit on the original and use it. Otherwise it was a relatively easy job that took about 90 minutes start to finish. Also, I believe there is a recall on black O rings for this application on other Hondas. I purchased the red o ring also sold here that is an actual Honda part. If doesn't leak its worth the extra $6. Quick tip, attach the firewall side fitting of the pipe first finger tight then fill the hose up with fluid until no bubbles can be seen coming from the fitting. Then attach the other side. Remember to reattach the electrical connection, which you have to remove from the old hose. Hope all this helps since there is no videos on YouTube on this exact install.
